Post infection- what to do regarding cycle?
Hey guys,
I took my biweekly dose of Humira in my abdomin last Monday amd it turned into cellulitis by last Friday with an abscess pocket and minor blood infection.
They gave me Sulfate & Cephalexin as antibiotics and the wound is consistently bleeding out to let the infection drain so I don’t know what the effects are of crossing antibiotics and Steriods or if I’m just constantly leaking out my medication or what…to do at this point in my cycle with testosterone being for 120-140 Total T and Deca for an Autoimmune disease treatment so I don’t have to take double the amount of Humira.
I swear I work in about as clean of a room as you can dedicate to sterility without being in a dedicated space with a 2’x4’ less than 18month old unit and 2month old 99.93 filtration HEPA filter on a Hospital Grade smart FFU with PPM log and UV sterilization light but it’s main use was so my daughter could paint without inhaling fumes.
Along with with to do with my cycle, what supplements and vitamins could I be adding to help this?
Any advice would be really appreciated.
Thank you,
CuericMass.

Do you know how long you’ll be healing for or taking the antibiotics? Personally I wouldn’t do any injections while in that state just because I’d be so afraid if introducing more bacteria, wether that’s a logically fear or not idk. If your going to be on them for a while than idk and would have to reassess the situation but two weeks or less then I would just wait. But then there’s also the double edged sword of maybe making your immune system weaker by having zero testosterone in you, so under two weeks and you’ll still have a decent testosterone level in you, longer than that and we’d have to have another discussion.
The prescription on the bottle says 10 days on each and in short, I was not told a definitive time of recovery cause the ER doctor said his goodbyes as I was still recouping and getting stitches.
That’s the exact crux that I’m at except with wasted money being my issue and little fear of an another infection. Take another dose and maybe feel better, maybe waste another dose since they said they would be surprised if the body didn’t affect the last AAS dose (8 days ago) with the infection being pretty aggressive and in the blood but especially now with the Ceph Antibiotic working in your soft tissues to flush the infection out with water (.5L/hr with 1l drank with the tablet every 6th hr) whatever’s in that soft tissue will be flushed but deep muscle tissue won’t be affected as much with that being the only insight he was willing to give since he said he didn’t know enough about AAS’s to give more advice.
What are you saying, that the infection ate the testosterone? I don’t think that’s possible. Where is the infection and where do you normally inject your testosterone
So I can definitively say that for sure the Cephalexin washes AAS’s & everything else that stores itself inside the body with anything but bone it seems.
I did a Test/Deca 200/250 and on the 2nd day, every few hours I’d get this intense urge to blast music or go on a run along with a slight congestion then it would wear off about 15-20minutes later.
It was SUPER noticeable, blood was warm, brain fog gone, and was finding myself wishing the V-cuts on scrubs was MUCH more loose every day I go to get the stitches checked on and they kinda poke at the abscess to see if it wants to bleed anymore.
Thank god I don’t run like Primo and test and deca are fairly cheap.
Rereading what I said, my bad if I came across like a know it all man.
From my understanding of what will happen to the Humira if reinjected, yes. Usually when there contaminants that the body feels something’s wrong but not sure if needs to be cleaned or thinks it’s ill, it will attack anything foreign to itself when it raises its WBC and increase liver and kidney function as a natural “flush” of the body trying to get rid of whatever the hell is making its immune system react and your body think, “somethings wrong here, not sure what yet but somethings wrong.”
Unfortunately this goes hand-in-hand with autoimmune diseases that cause your body to attacking itself as it sees you as foreign and putting itself into overdrive to attack the foreign “object” and why the disease creates fatigue and drowsiness along with your immune system being at a consistent deficit.
at the end of that day, he’s not sure, I’m not sure, but whatever I’m putting into soft tissue will be flushed every 2-3hrs from the Antibiotics from a Google search that seems to be exactly the ways it’s supposed to work.
What they can say for sure is that the infection most likely would’ve stayed localized if not for the immunosuppressant aspects of Humira.
