+ 2 INFECTION
Hey guys ,
6 weeks ago l Started using testorone cypionate, 250mg a week split into two doses,
About a week later I noticed small blisters appearing on my toes which soon turned Into pretty nasty sores. l eventually went to the doctors who had no idea what the cause could be or if it was fungal or bacterial. my Inflammatory markers( CRP) levels were quite high at around 67. I went on anti blotics ( Flucloxacillin) for a week and my CRP levels went back to 1 and my toes seemed to be improving.
about 3 weeks later I had surgery on a ruptured achilles tendon (it would of happened sooner however the surgeon refused to operate while my toes were in this state. and a few nights later I started coughing up blood.
I went back to the hospital and there were some serious issues.
Oxygen saturation around 86% ( the last time I remember it done it was 99%
CRP around 105
white blood count extremely high.
the doctors ordered a CT scan of my lungs which showed serious signs of infection.
I spent a week in hospital on IV antibiotics and am now at home on oral ones for the next 4 weeks.
the reason for my post is this , is it just a coincidence this all happened around the same time I started using test (it was also the same time I ruptured my achilles)
Has anyone else had infection problems ? of course I am clean when injecting. freshly showered, alcohol swab the area, clean needles etc.
Now the vials I purchased are 10ml vials. last week I went to do an injection and noticed little brown floaters in the vial. I have kept it in a dry dark place with cap on and tightly gladwrapped.( I believe this is the correct way to store it. ) I stopped using this vial of course and I believe I woukld have noticed them if they were there on when I last injected.
is it possible this infection is from what is in the vial ?
I have chosen not to name the brand.
how does everyone on here store their vials ? maybe next time I should buy the 1ml vials.
has anyone else noticed contamination in their vials?
I was using a 18g to draw then 23g to shoot. I now just use a 23g to draw aswell as I figure the smaller the hole in the top the less chance of thigs getting in.

my free test pre using was around 300 after 6 weeks I'm sitting at at around 1500.

I am not a doctor, but I am an ICU Nurse, and have quite a bit of experience.
1st: I always use 18g Blunt draw needles to insert into the vial. This is standard/best pactice in most hospitals.
2nd: I have seen toes and fingers like yours many times. It typically when someone throws a bunch of small clots.
3rd: What was your blood pressure when you came in? You obviously have a lung infection. When people are septic, they typically (not always) have lower blood pressure. Did they give you fluid boluses or start you on vasopressor medications?
4th: the soruce of infection could be multiple things. It could be dirty gear, the surgery itself, or intubation for surgery. Did your surgical site get infected? Were you intubated for the surgery? If you were intubated, it could be that which cause the lung infection.
5: You seem to be in poor health my man. So this could all just be coincidence. Either way, don't inject a vial with debris in it.
Again, not a physician. Just my 2 cents man. Hope you get better man.

Hi, what do you mean by throwing clots ? I find it strange that you know what it is but multiple doctors and an infectious specialist don't.
3 - No idea about blood pressure I only know oxygen saturation was that low because I get excited when I hit 100%.
The only medication I received was anti biotics via IV , blood thinners ( stomach injection )
When i was admitted the second time they gave me 3l of fluids sailine I believe.
4- no I was given a spinal I didn't want a general. No infection at surgery site. the infectious specialist believes this infection throughout my body has been going on for much longer than the two days you are suggesting. It has nothing to do with the surgery. the surgeon refused to operate on me until my toes had healed. on the outside they looked fine but had they taken bloods it's likely my CRP levels would of been similar to how they found them on the saturday ( around 100 ) This would explain the severe sweating I have had for the past 6 weeks.
please don't patronize me. as stated in my post as soon as I saw the floaters I put it aside. and of course did not inject from that vial again.

Brother, I apologize if you thought I was patronizing you. That was definitely not my intention.
As I stated before, I am not a physician. Physicians go to school to learn everything. While nurses typically rely on pattern recognition. Which means I learn through seeing the same stuff over and over again. I am not saying I know what it is. It could be an infection, or it could be clots. When the body is fighting an infection, it can become hypercoagulable. Which means your blood is more likely to form clots. While your toes could just be an infection, I have seen iv drug users come in with toes and fingers looking like yours, and one of our physicians typically says "he is throwing a bunch of clots. Check a ptt/anti-xa."
As I stated at the end of my previous post, this infection could just coincidence with your surgery and/or starting testosterone.
Again, I am not a physician, and do not know what they know. Only speaking from previous circumstances man. I truly do hope you get better man.
Hey , after much thought I got it wrong. I have a way of taking things personally ( maybe ibneed to gey my eostrogen levels checked hsha ) and I can now see you were only coming from a place of compassion and curiosity. A week before my toes out break I was convinced I was bitten by something. I didn't feel the bite but I saw a small red mark on my left hand. It actually hurt to the bone and I hsve severe sweats for two days then a week later my toes broke out. I didn't mention this in my post as I thought it would be information overload. The only poisonous spiders in NZ are the white tail , red back and katipo. However you would expect the break out to be more local as in on my hand and not my feet.
No worries brother. Idk anything about bites. But y'all are known to have some crazy wildlife down there, so I will take you at your word haha!

Yes , I gave it much thought and spoke to a guy about it and I took it wrong. Most of communication is through body language , tone of voice, eye contact etc and it is easy to be misunderstood using txt only.
I’m just going to throw it out there because it’s being danced around, I had suggested an immune deficiency or autoimmune condition, @Cam95 are you HIV positive?
That is beyond my knowledge level. But I would advise @Cam95 to get tested for everything. Him being a former addict and spending time in prison put him at a higher chance for picking up unwanted conditions.
No not defenitjy not however I am not immune to one form of hepatitis. They want to vaccinated me. However I have not had one vaccination in my life and plan to keep it that way.
I explained the term “throwing clots”, and that it was compassion more than patronizing in private messages haha. I know that probably sounded like a weird diagnosis to a foreigner, and he said he was going to edit the comment but fell asleep I believe haha. Dude seems cool and genuine, but this infection is highly concerning.

I'm no genius but certainly smart enough to know not to inject something that has a foreign object floating around haha its all good anyway guys I appreciate the support

He has a lot going on to just speculate into one specific cause from the infection. Poor health history for starters, so compromised immune system. Could it be a reaction to carrier, maybe. Poor injection technique, sure. You also have an invasive surgery in the mix as well and we don't know his aftercare on that either. And that systemic infection didn't happen overnight either, but it sure did do a number looking at his chest CT. Way too many vectors/variables to just say...it was the gear.
I would like to know more about injection technique. If it is cleanliness you a referring to and can rule that out. if its site or depth I cannot. In terms of after care for the wound post surgery there was none as they put me straight in a cast. had I not gone back in with an infection I don't think the wound would of been looked at until tomorrow ( my surgery follow up ). I am interested to know what you mean by poor health history. I did wonder what the carrier oil was and if it was possible I had a reaction to that.

thats interesting you say that, most oils are mct now so i wonder if he had a coconut allergy it would cause a reaction. but i dont think a allergix reaction would put him in sepsis like that, would it?
I really don’t know. I hope he stops everything. I loved a very well known brand here but I was experiencing Uceteria, rashes of the skin. Turns out, carrier oil was peach oil and I happen to be allergic to peaches lol.

I am wondering what replies are concerning you. I don't believe it's the gear and its not the surgery. However is it possible the gear has given I don't quite know how to word it but given this thing fuel to thrive basically. the comment underneath this mentions a possible auto immune condition. my mum has Rheumatoid which is an auto immune disease and her CRP levels are always high.

Yes , and the foods we eat , the water we drink. I'm currently reading a book called the 'Anti-inflammatory plan' it explains all about the foods the can increase or decrease the inflammation in our bodies. I'm reading it because my mum has rheumatoid arthritis and she's on all these toxic drugs to help her with the pain.

I do believe steroids In general create immune responses to inflammation. They only make inflammatory illnesses worse so whatever you had going on, steroids exacerbated the effects.

18g to draw? I think you injected piece if rubber maybe or nothing to do with steroids. This is exactly a perfect example why i dont tell my doctor i do steroids. I go in with toe blisters and she will say "it could be the steroids, stop that and we will see". No! Run other tests and find out whats really wrong with me before its too late! You dont say what you do for work, did your feet get wet and get infection, get MRSA from a previous scratch, is that untreated toe fungus on the middle toe?. Could be 1,000,000 possibilities besides testosterone
Yes 18g to draw. as stated I now draw with a 23g. I thought I made it clear or at least I tried to make it clear that I am not saying it is / was the testostorone. I am simply putting it out there that it all happened at the same time. most likely a complete coincidence.
so are you saying you get toe blisters ? toes were completely clean prior to this out break. I am an extremely clean person. however I do work on a salmon farm. what do you use to draw ?
I draw with 23 inject with 23. I have not gotten toe blisters but i do know toxins do leave from the feet so any bacteria administered from somewhere else can come out in hands or feet. And 18 to draw was a rhetorical question. I knew the answer already. Thinks its the way we speak in the States

Ive never heard of roids causing coughing up blood. Even with the tren cough/chem cough. Blisters on toes looks a mystery as well. If you had anaphalaxis then it should have been pretty direct and alarming. Id keep up with your primary care Doc and run through tests as needed. Will be interested in whats found.

I AM NOT SAYING IT'S THE TESTOSTORONE CAUSING THESE SYMPTONS. it's probably just a coincidence. I was diagnosed with endocartditis ( infection in the heart ) they were talking open heart surgery two days later they withdrew that diagnosis.
I have the infectious disease specialist stumped. he has taken a very personal interest in my case and trying to figure out the cause of all these sypmtoms.

only thing i can think of is possibly sepsis. maybe the source wasnt using sterilized vials
post a picture of the vials showing the floaters but just make sure that the brand name itself is not showing. its okay if some of the label is showing. if you have sealed vials that have floaters in them, post that and tag the source in the main gear pictures section. its possible that theirs bacteria growing but usually i dont think it would be visible like that. they sell unsterilized vials and steriziled vials so maybe the source didnt sterilize them
