+ 2 INFECTION

ad

Hey guys ,
6 weeks ago l Started using testorone cypionate, 250mg a week split into two doses,
About a week later I noticed small blisters appearing on my toes which soon turned Into pretty nasty sores. l eventually went to the doctors who had no idea what the cause could be or if it was fungal or bacterial. my Inflammatory markers( CRP) levels were quite high at around 67. I went on anti blotics ( Flucloxacillin) for a week and my CRP levels went back to 1 and my toes seemed to be improving.
about 3 weeks later I had surgery on a ruptured achilles tendon (it would of happened sooner however the surgeon refused to operate while my toes were in this state. and a few nights later I started coughing up blood.
I went back to the hospital and there were some serious issues.
Oxygen saturation around 86% ( the last time I remember it done it was 99%
CRP around 105
white blood count extremely high.
the doctors ordered a CT scan of my lungs which showed serious signs of infection.
I spent a week in hospital on IV antibiotics and am now at home on oral ones for the next 4 weeks.
the reason for my post is this , is it just a coincidence this all happened around the same time I started using test (it was also the same time I ruptured my achilles)
Has anyone else had infection problems ? of course I am clean when injecting. freshly showered, alcohol swab the area, clean needles etc.
Now the vials I purchased are 10ml vials. last week I went to do an injection and noticed little brown floaters in the vial. I have kept it in a dry dark place with cap on and tightly gladwrapped.( I believe this is the correct way to store it. ) I stopped using this vial of course and I believe I woukld have noticed them if they were there on when I last injected.
is it possible this infection is from what is in the vial ?
I have chosen not to name the brand.
how does everyone on here store their vials ? maybe next time I should buy the 1ml vials.
has anyone else noticed contamination in their vials?
I was using a 18g to draw then 23g to shoot. I now just use a 23g to draw aswell as I figure the smaller the hole in the top the less chance of thigs getting in.
If you made it to the end of this woffling then congratulations.
my free test pre using was around 300 after 6 weeks I'm sitting at at around 1500.

Cheers guys , any advice, input or thoughts are appreciated.

JUST TO MAKE IT CLEAR I AM NOT SAYING IT IS OR ISN'T THE TESTOSTORONE.

Hi mate I tried to take a photo of the floater but it is so small it's impossible to get a clear picture. To me it looks less like rubber and more like organic matter

I’d be SHOCKED if anything could grow in any real oil with solvent to the point of being able to see them. If it’s gray/black I’m guessing it’s the stopper as I’ve seen that countless times with 18g. Even has happened to me with 23g.

Anything is possible though. Agreed would love to see pictures of the floaters in the vial just cover the lab/brand name

I would 100% report this to primary and surgeon follow up to be safe. If pain, swelling, redness, or pus gets worse or spreads I would go get checked out more urgently. I would say that surgery or the multitude of other things is more likely than a high rated sec having a contaminated vial, but again- anything is possible!

I have tried taking a photo but it's so small it's impossible to get s clear picture. I am going to look into how to grow bacteria today. I will draw the floster out and see if I can grow it. Does that sound like a good idea?

FlemDaddyKush's picture

bacteria can grow in basically any conditions

smurfdude1234567's picture

If not sterile, yes obviously was not arguing that at all. I mean to the point of seeing stuff floating in a vial from a reputable source here… not likely imo

Its been near a decade since ive seen bad source gear but anything can be possible. Typically if its gear its widespread and fast. Figure a small ugl batch might be 500bottles. I hope he keeps up with his doctor.

FlemDaddyKush's picture

hes from new zealand so alot of sources probably wont even ship there besides the big sources that arr based overseas or some domestic source from there. but yeah thats some sketchy shit.

FlemDaddyKush's picture

fat bastard left a floater in your vials

Cam95's picture

hahaha have no clue what you're talking about

FlemDaddyKush's picture

you never seen the austin powers movies? "ahhh fat bastard left a floater"

Cam95's picture

I have seen Austin powers mste but probably not for about 15 years

1 you’re doing us a disservice by not mentioning the brand
2 are you sure the infection is related to the steroids
3 why did they operate on you for a non emergency when your c-reactive proteins were so high?
4 do you have lupus?

  1. Ok I thought mentioning the brand would be wrong but I can if necessary.
  2. Absolutely not I thought I made it clear I have no clue what the source of the infection is. my first dose was the day I ruptured my achilles. I was put in a cast straight away. a week later these blisters appeared. ( walked into A&E barefoot ) its possible I picked up something there. I also work on a salmon farm. there is hundreds of possibilities.
  3. They operated on my ruptured achilles.
  4. Never heard of it will look it up.

cheers mate.

wait, so this happened after they did surgery?

Cam95's picture

so the toe thing and high crp ( around 65 ) 3 weeks before surgery. 1 week of anti biotics and crp was back down to 4. had surgery 2 days later i woke up coughing and sweating and just didn't feel right. went back to sleep woke up and pillow cases covered in blood so went to hospital. first thing they do is check BP and oxygen saturation. once they saw my oxygen was at like 84-85 they knew something was wrong

Drexyl's picture

As BFG pointed out just below, absolutely do not post the brand or source here in general discussion. The rest of the answers are fair enough, still surprising they’d perform any surgery while your body was currently showing infection in your lab results, CRP of 67 is significant. Lupus is an autoimmune disorder, it’s a weird one and I could be wrong but I don’t think there’s a specific test for it, more of a culmination of different tests and presentation of symptoms. I brought it up because you’re 3 for 3, read up on it and best wishes to you.

He is following the rules, brand and source names aren't allowed in the forums.
We have dedicated sections for brand and source discussions.

Cam95's picture

Thank you. I wasn't aware of that rule but I don't believe it's ethical mentioning a product in this case.
Glad to know of that rule.
cheers mate.

My bad big guy

Cam95's picture

Thank you mate. I now draw with a 23g then change over to a fresh 23g for injection. what do you think of this ? I get very minimal bleeding. No bruising and No pain. I do it in the side of quad.

smurfdude1234567's picture

You’d be surprised how much gear you can draw now with 30g and a heating pad- hell even room temp. Stuff is just smoother now.

I was talking to an older guy at my gym about this and he made a joke like “how many hours does it take to pull out a dose…” along those lines. He told me that decades back gear used to be so thick that he hasn’t ever pinned with anything else than a 23g. Not 100% sure if this is even a truth, but it could be due to the different carrier oils that used to be standard.

Def true, even just like 6 years ago, you couldn’t draw with 23s you had to go bigger or sit all day waiting for it to draw

Cam95's picture

Thank you mate. so you are saying I could warm the vial a bit to make it easier to draw ? it doesn't take long at all drawing with a 23g

smurfdude1234567's picture

Oh yes brother! A heating pad is your best friend. Just to where it’s warm on the lips like a baby bottle- will also feel smooth as butter to inject. Helps spread and with PIP for me too.

Sent over a friend request as I’m curious what source it is :)!
