Neck Training

ad

How many of you train neck? The amount of "fitness influencers" who have a pencil neck is insane. Its as bad as having skinny legs and a huge upper body.

Also why does everyone want to stay shredded year round?
Not very conducive to adding as much mass as possible.

Anyways, I think neck training is super underrated. Even if a person didn't work out but had a thick neck it would make them LOOK as if they worked out. I have a neck harness and lock myself in my room so no one sees me. I do neck flexion and neck extension with the harness, which seems to be enough. Definitely looks weird, not something I would do at a public gym lmao. Traps are also underrated.

It's weird I see this now. I was just watching a YouTube video about what muscles make you look the most jacked and a big neck topped the list. I honestly don't know how to work out my neck and I've never seen a neck machine at the gym.

On every base I've been stationed at has had a neck machine. I haven't seen one in a while. Never really thought about it. I wish my gym had one.

They’re getting harder to find, but in every football gym I’ve been in (including hs) they’ve had plate loaded neck machines as it was a focused part of our workouts. I find old school gyms have em’ more compared to mainstream gyms. (planet fitness, crunch, etc.)
