Gym break

ad

Hey friends,
I have a an expedition in the Rockies next week. Serious hiking with serious climbing in elevation. 50 lb pack at 8,000-13,000 ft. Im on 250 test E every Sunday Wednesday. This week is going to be Monday Saturday because I'm not flying with gear. Two part question.....1. Serious hiking with good weight SHOULD be a good substitute for my gym work as far as not losing gains, right? 2. This 5 day break from pinning.... Should I bring an AI or dose of nolva with me? Common sense kind of tells I'll be fine. Just wanted to run it by the forums.... Thanks.

You will be fine. Go have fun. There is more to life than worrying about if you are going to lose your gains.

Just got back! Hiking, climbing, sweating, serious cardio day after day with a backcountry trail mix, tuna, oatmeal and MRE diet..... Gained two pounds and looking good! Lmao. Hit the gym this morning and feel great!

You’ll be fine. For such a short time if you’ve been dialled in, You can afford to Forget about dosing protocol and go have fun and make some memories.

5 days of serious climbing with weight should be as good as the gym right? At least to maintain? Im getting big AF. But I have added a little body fat. I'm thinking 5 days of sweat shouldn't hurt my muscular mass right? Maybe I'll just come back a little ripped.

You may lose a slight bit of muscle, but I really wouldn't sweat it. You'll soon put it back on if you are running gear anyway - its times like these where you should put all that out of your mind and enjoy the time away doing what you are doing and the people you are with. I've had days away where all I've thought about is the workout I am missing and will I be losing strength on the lift etc - when in reality because of the extra rest and time off I have had I've gotten even stronger!! So stop obsessing over it because those times you can often not get back and its stupid to hamper it in your mind because of these thoughts Good
