Back injury
ad
What’s up guys! I need some advice I hurt my back last week it’s been about 6 days. The first day I felt it all over more or less electrical like. Felt pins and needles all over upper back. The second day on into present time I can’t stand or walk over about 15 minutes at a time and I get a radiating pain in the middle left side of my back beside my shoulder blade. It’s a sharp throbbing pain. Has anyone had experiences with there back like this in the past. I’m kind of freaked out any feedback from you guys would be greatly appreciated. I highly value all of you guys opinions and know you all have lifted way longer and heavier then I ever have. Thanks fellas!!

I had a serious injury, do not play with it. You need imaging and a proper diagnosis. Everyday non strenuous activity can extenuate the injury and you could be looking at some very serious problems judging by your stated symptoms. I’ll tell you the first thing my specialist told me, retain a lawyer.
On two separate occasions, I tweaked something in my back, and it took about two weeks for it to get better. Both times, after the second or third day, I went and saw a chiropractor. They made some adjustments, which seemed more like a standard procedure, and told me I would feel better in a few days. One of them even used those vibrating electrodes on me. Neither appointment made a difference, I left feeling just as bad as I did when I walked in. Maybe their adjustment’s worked or maybe they didn’t, because on both occasions it took about two weeks.
These days I would opt for a massage parlor. Half the price, and they’ll work on you for about an hour. Surprisingly, some of them really know what they’re doing. I find the Asian masseuses to give a more thorough and consistent massage. Stay away from the franchises. That’s equivalent to having your haircut at Supercuts.
Will do thanks mate
Go see a chiropractor and if you're luck your regular doctor will order an MRI. Without an MRI you won't completely know what's going on. You can also get PRP injections to strengthen it.
Awesome appreciate the feedback boss I’m trying get in doctors today it’s so much red tape and bullshit
Go see a chiropractor first. The only thing useful a doctor can do for your back is order a scan.
So it’s work related and the assholes are not allowing me seek aftercare they have a shitty office set up at there plant and I still haven’t seen a doctor day 7. I feel like it’s slightly getting better and pray it’s inflammation. I have insurance but the bitch at my work would not authorize me to seek outside care.
IF it's work related just go to a dr and tell them that and give them your works info. They will get the insurance info from them. You don't have to get authorization from your work to see a dr.
Nice I am going tomorrow I don’t care what they say it’s all about trying save a dollar
I have had back injury and 2 surgeries done to my lower back when I was 24. What it sounds like could be anything from a slipped disc , bludge or even hernieated disc or just inflamation. Could be some simple or serious. I speak from experience when it come to your upper or lower back and pain dont mees around get it checked to make sure nothing serious. But if you ever have pain go down your leg or arm that means a nerve is being impinged some way.
If it were me after a few days of this I would be straight into the Hospital Accident & Emergency Room to get it checked out, were you doing deadlifts or BB rows when it happened? This is not just a pulled muscle.
I had that but in a different location. Bulging/herniated disk. Go to dr. That sounds pretty bad. I ended up getting a cortisone shot. Went from not being able to walk 50 yards and back locking up to being back to normal in a few days.
Definitely sounds like something for your doctor / ER to look at, struggling to walk or stand for over 15 minutes due to it is a serious concern.
I wouldn't mess around when it comes to back /spinal injuries, just continuing as normal could make it worse. Get checked in asap.
