Zinc and Androgen receptors

ad

Guys zinc has many important functions in the our bodies , including as a micronutrient that is essential for the production of testosterone and other androgen hormones. If you are low on zinc, you will necessarily also be low on testosterone. By raising your zinc to a healthy level, you can support your body’s natural testosterone production. However, more zinc above and beyond the normal, healthy level will not have any additional effect on testosterone production. Zinc and selenium together increase function of androgen receptors. You don’t need to take a ton of it but make sure you levels aren’t low. More isn’t always better. Just some food for thought.

Has anyone heard about zincs effects on estradiol? I recently heard it lowers it and I'm wondering how effective it is, if at all. Obviously it's not going to replace an AI

Dan I never heard that but I also never looked for that aspect. That would be a question for someone like Makwa or Greg.

This is true and pretty underrated, just recently been hearing more support for zinc supplementation
