Superdrol joint pain

ad

Currently running an S drol cycle started out 10 mg for the first week and a half then bumped it to 20. I’m about a week in with 20 and today I’m noticing pretty significant joint soreness all day in my wrists, elbows and shoulders. I have put on a lot of mass in a short period of time I’ve noticed and I’m running Rich pianas cycle support supplement and taurine, but is there anything else you guys would suggest to help with this joint pain? I only have like a week left of this and kind of wanna see it through

Bro I ran superdrol at about the same dose and a week and a half or so in i got edema really.bad in my ankles and wrists. I felt fine but I stopped because my wrists were really swollen. They also hurt from all the water and swelling. I have had edema in my ankles many times from test cycles but first time my wrists ever swelled up like that lol.

I would say its because your tendons are sore from the new found strength you have gained on superdrol, tendons take up to 3 times longer to recover and heal than muscle does due to poor blood supply and subsequent amino acid delivery. If you went from being natural to running Test and Superdrol then this will be the reason. This is why its pointless running superdrol really unless you are coming into a peaking phase for a powerlifting contest where the tendons are already conditioned and strong, all you are trying to do is hone in the nervous system to getting use to 1 rep maxes and quickly recruiting as much fast twitch muscle fibre as possible to put into a single rep.

Superdrol is a bitch to run for even just 3 weeks, so by the time your tendons keep recovering each time to hit the lifts again, you will of maybe been able to train a lift 3 times before you have to jack in the compound. Hence why you run tolerable compounds like DBol that you can run for 8 weeks plus backed up by some NPP to help tendon recovery and joint pain.

Superdrol also isn't a 'wet' compound so joint support is not something it helps with compared to something like DBol.

Oh, I’ve been running test for a while, but yeah, your explanation does sound correct. Ran a six week anavar cycle a few months ago and had almost no sides. I think I’m gonna stick to that whenever I do add an oral.

Please tell my you didn't run a superdrol only cycle...

ZyndlersList's picture

Nope, running with test c

DieselSemi's picture

Could be just due to the sudden strength gain and your joints haven't caught up yet.

Are you running testosterone with the superdrol?

Yep 250 test c

Maybe u need some estrogen like dbol

I second that ^ sounds like low e2 may be the cause. Sdrol is dry compared to Drol/dbol. If your strength shot up i think it’s a combination of those factors. Next time maybe bump up the test a little prior, or lower your ai dose if you’re taking one (really hope if you are it’s not much being on only 250 cyp)

Only thing I'd suggest would be either lower weights while you ride out the cycle to prevent injury or just stop while you're ahead, you gained some size off it, take the gains and call it quits w the superdrol for awhile

Anything at this point would just be symptom management, joints are dry, call it quits before you do some damage

Thanks for the advice. Probably gonna take a day or two off lifting and start pct now. The gains were dramatic but these sides are definitely not worth it. Anavar was so much better I felt almost no sides from that.
