+ 1 On trt looking for info on first cycle
ad
I’m 37 and I’ve currently been on trt for a year and feel great. Looking for info on how to take first cycle. Currently taking the following:
140 mg test c weekly
.25 mg arimidex once every other week
50mg clomiphene citrate once a week
I recently had my blood levels checked and everything looked good and were with in ranges. Looking at the beginner cycle it says 500 mg of test and other thing. Would I take that on top of what I am currently taking, make up the difference, or stop trt and do a normal cycle? Any info would be appropriate.

DelcoDecaI did npp and test cyp my first cycle and it worked out well
RustyhookerNever cycled and having to worry about estro and prolactin isnt fun. Its easiest to get comfortable with ai and e2 control a few blasts. Op should be plenty happy adding on a solid 10lbs in 12 weeks given foods and gym are on point.
Advanced cycles AI...DA....mitigating orals as emergency backup and blocking etc. Base cycle with adex and blood test week 4 or 5 to add adex IF needed....all cake
Stop trt. Sust 250-350 1ml 2x week and Anadrol 50 ED keep with the arimidex and you’ll feel like a Greek god
You're advising someone who has never cycled before to do his first cycle with one of the harshest orals and an advanced form of test which will make it harder for him to gauge how his body reacts to a higher than normal dose of androgens. He should keep it as basic as possible for his first cycle
Friends, listen to Blackjack115 here, and Rustyhooker above. For your first few cycles, keep it simple. There's TONS of info on a "test only blast" where you literally worry about an estrogen blocker and testosterone only. It's gonna be a new sensation to your body to do just that "simple 10 week blast," and you'll want to be tuned into your body. Listen to the veterans here! We're not steering you wrong. This is your endocrine system we're messing with here, and I promise, you do not want to fuck it up by being cavalier with substances. Besides, if you've lifted weights a long time, you already know that diet, lifting and sleep are EVERYTHING. (If you can, cut back on booze or quit altogether for your blast too, just so you can see how your body reacts!)
Or, what do I care? Eat a bunch of soy, blast every compound known to man for years on end, then complain to your doctor that your breasts are aching every time you lactate. The choice is yours! Wishing you all good health.

Clomid one a week? For ?
That’s what the doctor has me on.
bgukxllsIt seems like your doctor gave you clomid as a trigger for LH / keep the Leydig cells functioning. What he's trying to do is "signal" the testies to keep "awake" while you're doing trt. Often times HCG is used for this purpose. Anastrazole (arimidex) is just to combat the aromatization of test to estrogen and is standard on TRT protocols as I'm sure you know.
Is 140 mg your trt dose? It seems like you went to a TRT specialist instead of a traditional doctor, since clomiphene is not usually utilized/recommended by your average joe doctor since there's not as much advertising and its a bit off label since it's considered for "women's infertility". Might also explain why your trt dose is on the higher side.
Yes I went to a trt specialist. 140 is my current dose and keeps my testosterone at 1060 ish.
For ? What's he's reason for clomid once per week on top of test?

Goals? Cardio and tighten up diet will drop bf then when you start a cycle in few months youll finish looking rocky
Goals are to increase size and strength. That’s why my body fat is a little high. Just been eating a lot (cleanish) to put on weight and muscle. Do you have any insight on how a first cycle would look. Or would I just do a normal one on top of my trt routine?
For info on first cycles go to > Community > Groups > Beginners cycles. Only difference is that you're already on TRT so there would be no need to do the PCT part of the cycle.
Awesome thank you. That’s what I was wondering. Thank you. So other then the pct part just do the cycle as described?
The 1st cycle post does include a prop taper, since the post says that's designed to get a more gradual progression in to PCT you could leave that out since you're going back on TRT dose after the cycle anyways. Also it list specific dosages for the AI but you should determine your AI dosage through bloodwork.
