+ 4 Mid cycle check in
What’s up guys just wanted to drop a quick update. im 42 and been lifting on and off for years. decided to run a little test cyp and eq this time around, both at 400 a week. sitting at week 6 right now.
honestly feeling pretty damn good. strength’s been climbing slow but steady, recovery’s solid. energy in the gym is awesome, outside the gym a little hit or miss depending on sleep. appetite’s way up, probably the eq kicking.
libido’s strong, mood’s mostly good but i notice im a bit snappier than usual. wife’s mentioned it too haha. no crazy sides so far, just keeping an eye on blood pressure and making sure to stay hydrated.
i’ll be doing bloods next week just to make sure everything’s in check. planning 12 weeks total then proper pct.
anyone else around my age running something similar right now? curious if you guys start feeling that mid cycle fatigue creeping in around week 8 or so.
stay smart fellas and don’t skip the bloodwork.

Samwise777Good to hear you're feeling good overall. I'm 39 and have definitely experienced that week 8 fatigue on similar cycles. Proper sleep and staying on top of your diet become even more crucial around that time, in my experience.
masternakGood stuff man, thanks for sharing. I'm always interested to hear how people are feeling mid-cycle, especially with EQ involved. Keep us updated on those bloods!
Looks promising bro… so you’re mid-cycle right now running Test and EQ, and already planning a Test and Deca bulk right after?
Are you doing any kind of recovery phase between those runs, or did you drop the Test C + Deca idea from your other post?

evansolid update bro -- respect for staying on top of bloods and BP — a lot of guys skip that part. i’m 24, on my first test-e run right now (250 mg 2x a week), sitting at week 3. strength and recovery picked up fast, but sleep’s been a bit all over the place and mood swings hit randomly lol.
cool to hear how you’re managing things mid-cycle — i was wondering about that EQ appetite bump too, been hearing mixed stuff. curious to see how your week 8+ goes, especially with energy outside the gym.
props for doing it right man, good to see someone actually checking labs and keeping things smart
Right on with the bloodwork! As for cycle length, eq is a slow burner. Full saturation wk 9 I believe..., so only 3 weeks of full benefits . Most like to run her 16 weeks minimum
stalliongSweet man thanks for the input!
Anabolic_FreakSolid run, man. Appreciate the log. Always heard good things about that Test/EQ combo. Keep us posted after the bloodwork. Stay strong!
stalliongForsure brotha!
alxloveHey man, solid update.
I’m right there with you—running test cyp 400 and EQ 300 myself, week 7 now. Totally agree on the slow but steady strength gains. It’s not that “blast you overnight” kind of feeling, more of a smooth climb that keeps you locked in.
Appetite’s been wild here too, can’t stop eating. I also notice EQ gives me that mental drive but sometimes I’m a little on edge—my girl mentioned I’ve been a bit short lately lol. BP’s been fine so far, just pounding water and throwing in some beet juice and taurine to stay on top of it.
Mid-cycle fatigue usually hits me around week 8-9 too, so I start pushing carbs up a bit and adding an extra rest day if needed. Once that passes, energy usually stabilizes again.
Good move getting bloods done. Keep us posted on those results—always cool to compare markers between cycles.
Stay safe and keep killing it in the gym --
stalliongSweet bro! we can be cycle buddies keep me posted
