Powerlifting diet
ad
Hello everyone. What do you think is the ideal food or diet plan for a powerlifting athlete weighing 70-80 kilograms. Of course, in addition to recovery and progress in strength, it is also important to look decent, i.e. be with a minimum amount of fat). I would like to hear your opinions guys. And then we have a dispute in the hall today - people say that this is impossible. Thank you in advance.
or maybe in powerlifting you don't care about food, eat whatever you want and more. The guys had such an opinion.

TheFunOneA powerlifter’s diet should have a macronutrient breakdown of 5-8 g per kg body weight of carbohydrates, 1.4-2 gram per kg body weight of protein, and 30% of total calories from fat per day.
I just need to add in carbs.. I am already eating 6 times a day..7 on workout days.
Do a steroid cycle, which will shut down your body's natural production of testosterone, then stop using the steroid. Within a few weeks, when the steroids are gone from your body, you will have very low testosterone levels.
what does this have to do with a powerlifting diet?
In my personal opinion I think you don't need to change too much but more carbs around working out . White rice, sweet potatoes, potatoes, oatmeal are my main sources. Good carb sources will provide the most efficiency, the best for energy and the least fat gain.

Fitrome1980Adjust your total of calories but for thé strengh you need some good fat. For optimise the performance, the choice of food and timing is important and you will need to eat some food before training for perform and after to recover.
Hey!
I'm using vertical diet by Stan Efferding rn. Works great for me.
Hey! I am also interested in this, I have been building up my diet quite well but still have cheat days here and there. Wondering what peoples experiences are with diet structuring.
PropheticWookieSo far, no one has answered or shared their own weight. It is very difficult to keep your appetite after heavy squats on the day of training and especially the next. A hungry beast is raging in me
PropheticWookieI will be glad to any advice and, of course, it will be very useful to hear from anyone who has any experience in terms of nutrition. thank you all in advance
