Need Assistance dialing in my Diet PLEASE!!!
First of all thanks for your time i know its valuable and dont want to waste it. Things are going a little slower than expected but thats just where discipline and consistency have an oppurtunity to show. I am 52 years old currently working out about an hour and a half 5 days a week. Im in week 13 of 20 in a Test E/Deca and added Anavar today to break through my platuae i seem to be experiencing. I dialed the diet in 26 days ago and started counting my macros. I know i should have started sooner but its a process ya know. I have my macros set at 25% Fat, 35% Carbs and 40% Protein and yes im new at this part of it so suggestions would be appreciated. My Calories on days i work out are about 3250 and on days i dont right at 2600. On the day i work out i average about 275 grams of protein and almost the same in carbs. It does fluxuate maybe 5% but for the most part i hit my goals. Am i eating enough for what i am doing? Oh cardio is only 15 minutes right now building my self back up and adding 2 minutes a week to that as well. I have 7 weeks left and wanting to give it a good push. My strength has slowed down and was wondering if i was eating enough. Abs are visible in the am and drinking well over a gallon of water a day. I am disciplined so any suggestions will not be taken lightly. Not currently running any hgh because of finances at the time but am eating very clean and using my fitness pal app and tracking everything. im 5ft 10in and a steady 207 for now . Thanks Again for your time and feedback

anvilUp the food maybe 5% but no added fats. 2 weeks if not getting anywhere up the gear 50mgs of each. Unless health markers change up it to 100mgs the next one until you achieve desired results or health markers go south.
But Kurt havens just dropped a yt about this very thing and that guy is like the guy for this kinda stuff. Watch it.
What are your goals? If you’re trying to get bigger you may want to increase carbs, the carbs are little bit on the low side. But since you’ve been at it for a little while now you may need to try and reset your insulin sensitivity. You could try carb cycling like have 2 low carb days 3 medium 2 high. Do the high days on biggest muscle groups or ones lagging the most, fill in the rest of the week low and medium.
It’s hard with diet. There’s so many ways you can break it all up. And we don’t know what your maintenance really is. That’s also a good amount of activity you’re doing. Like for me at those calories and that activity level I’d be getting smaller. You’re probably gunna have to add. I’d keep fat where it is under 100grams and protein at 275 is good, some would say you can do more but idk. I’d just go up in carbs. Also the carbs if you do add, I only add around training time, before and after.
If your goals are to get leaner, then forget everything I said lol
