Has anyone tried these mushroom coffees ?

ad

I keep seeing all these reels for this mushroom coffees wondering if anyone's mixing these into their protein powders or drinking these things in the morning Etc. They say they're good for gut health Clarity Etc. I did my macros and I should be somewhere around 2,000 calories to lose some fat on top of all this muscle so I was thinking of incorporating the stuff into my regimen.

I have tried one of those non-dairy coconut creamers made by a big-wave surfer who’s really into clean nutrition and performance. It’s sweet and creamy, has adaptogens and functional mushrooms like chaga and lion’s mane, and it’s non-GMO. You can mix it right into coffee or even protein shakes — gives them a nice smooth taste and a little extra focus boost.

They also make a version blended with mushroom coffee that’s great in the morning if you’re trying to support gut health and energy.

Not mentioning the brand name since I’m not sure about the rules in this sub.

I use mushroom coffee at least 5 days a weeks . I notice my being more clear and more energy . It definitely helps with regular bowel movements in return being less bloated. Is there a specific king you're looking at getting ? You can get the powders and add then your regular coffee too . Etsy has some that are just as good as the main brands but for much cheaper . I even add a little espresso powder for flavor and extra energy if needed

I like the less bloating and clarity cuz sometimes I really do feel like I have brain fog. Funny thing is I haven't had coffee in a week and I haven't craved it

So an update here , i have 2 kinds now everyday dose and mudwtr. They both taste good , the everyday dose more coffeeish and i frothed sugar free sweet creamer into it. The mudwtr tastes like a cocoa and chai earthy broth. Both are good and im giving it a month to see if there are any benefits

Nope but a made a good magic mushroom vodka back in the day. Stuff goes bad until you put vitamin c in it. Then it turns the vodka from green to orange

I would literally be clearing out rooms with a sauerkraut and yogurt combo LOL. If I combine oatmeal and liquid egg whites it's crazy I can't imagine sauerkraut and yogurt

Is it true you can gain more but only then shrink them?

As if you lose some weight, rebound worse and heavier, diet down again, rinse and repeat. It’s literally a hellacious cycle I’ve been through numerous times with some diagnosed eating disorders

I hope I’m wrong though ..

That is usually true. Lipid cells tend to simply go dormant almost, emptying themselves when the body is lean, but the total number of fat cells stays pretty consistent - but there are some things that will rid the body of them.

I got in a gnarly accident and a bunch of the fat in my hip came out of the massive puncture, so I'm semi permanently leaner on one side than the other it's funny, but also really annoying.

I used to take a micro dose of the magic kind a day, up to .5 of a gram. That definitely gave a mood and cognitive boost, but if I did a lil too much it gave bad anxiety.
I found it has a crash that makes me drowsy, so I haven't bothered to buy more. They just sell them at the dispensaries here, Canada's pretty lax about it.
My wife drinks mushroom matcha every day, I've had it many times and feel nothing from it but the caffeine.

With a vanilla protein probably really good!
Revolution makes a cappuccino protein powder that I put in my yogurt with a splash of coffee and whip it up into this light delicious coffee flavored shit... makes my 5am starts a lot more pleasant.

I'm not sure how they would go with my protein powder. I wonder what kind of strength or lack of strength that would give you in the gym

I think it would be more cognitive if anything. And if your expecting something you’ll be greatly disappointed, it’s very very slight, I don’t think it’ll blow your socks off, but may give you a slightly better focus and helps tings like memory. I don’t think there’s much physical improvement tho
