-1 Eating A lot of Food leading to Constipation

When on a cycle food is a big part of getting gains. I know this is not the nicest topic but it is something we go through. Does anyone here have bouts of constipation and if so what do you do to relieve yourself, or at least make it easier to go to the bathroom. Anything natural out there, I am not at the point of getting a prescription.

Waller and Fit are spot on. Very seldom will one need a prescription if they have adequate fiber in their diet along with Probiotics. Anything more, you may need to seek medical advice, could have inflamed gastro/intestines. Or, in some cases, certain foods/juices will cause Crohn's disease. Even that is a relatively easy fix with the right prescription. Good luck
Add fiber to your diet by eating more fresh fruits and vegetables, either cooked or raw, and more whole-grain cereals and breads. In addition, you should drink enough water and juice can help you have regular bowel movements.

A question, how many water do you drink by day ? The hydration is so important too
Eating high fiber foods can not lead to constipation but if you eat a lot of high fiber foods including fruits, vegetables, beans, and cereals can lead to constipation.
I tend to shit just fine when I drink coffee daily. I eat 7 times a day.
Also notice constipation showing itself if I have a fuck ton of red meat or cheese, but the coffee in the morning remedies this. If coffee doesn't work for you, try some stool softener.

To reiterate points already made here, psyllium husk fiber, the orange stuff is an absolute necessity for any male over the age of 30, or anyone who is eating a lot to grow. Twice a day, once a bare minimum. Even with a ton of veggies I've found that fiber is still needed to keep it movin' so to speak. Also important during your cut to make you feel full, you can add a spoonful or two of fiber after every other meal it's a game-changer for multiple reasons.

Ms WorkerBeeI actually asked my mom what herbal remedy she uses and she told me Senna tea. I think it is spelled Senna. It is supposed to soften things up but i do not think it is a laxative. At times I will try anything within reason.
Ms WorkerBeeYeah, maybe a day full of junk food, or something the body is not used to, KFC is ok, I used to like Popeyes chicken. Maybe black coffee and some spicy food. I asked my mom believe it or not if she has this problem. She mentioned some herbs in pill form to soften things up. I don't know if genetics play a role in this. I am going to up my water intake also and hope it is just something that happens. When it is more than 2 days I get a little worried and especially irritated. Also hate to sit down for to long as soon as my legs get numb i call it for another time. Hope all bowels well and not TMI...

TricepatopsBuy some fiber products. A soluble fiber is what you need to help you shit easier. Sometimes if needed ducalox can work but it all comes down to fiber drinking water and being active.
Psyllium seed fiber was the best I found so far, gotta mix it and drink it fast or it just goes to gel, but it works best for me. A bit pricey, but does not take a lot. Oats have lots of fiber too, pre-workout meal, quite dry oatmeal, bananna and vanilla yougurt mixed together. Good carbs, potasium and fiber. Can put in peanut butter for more protein, but I just do a whey shake. Some people can't handle that much food before a workout, but never been a problem for me.
You need moisture and fiber. Eat a lot of steamed vegetables like squash, asparagus, brussel sprouts, brocolli, etc. Takes 10 minutes. Steam your potatoes and sweet potatoes also. Adds moisture. Also, some walking helps move everything along.
One of those things you put your feet up on can really help as well. Once I got one I stopped having to ever strain. It really made a difference

Molinin302Relaxation. I like to read. Years ago it was a newspaper or magazine. Literally a basket of magazines next to the toilet. Now? Phones. We check email, news, eventually porn. If you lie to me you're lying to yourself. Porn. Weird porn. The world needs to go back to the magazine basket, this is where things got lost.
Fun you should say that, when young, I spent the summer at my grandfathers farm. Men and boys used the outhouse (or the corner of the barn/fence post, for a piss) In the outhouse on a string was last years Sears catalog (or the remaining part of it), it served a dual purpose,......... reading was one of them.

Molinin302Not to get into too much, but I have a strangely mixed family, all grandparents met in the military. In the late 40s, yeah. To "circle back" I'm getting older. There's something to holding a magazine or newspaper as opposed to a phone. Just feels more personal I think.
