Wanting to start and looking for answers

ad

To get straight to the point I have seriously let myself go these past years and have started a whole new “me”. I’ve lost over 20 pounds from 269 to 246. I’m 5’11” and also started the 75 hard routine. What are your recommendations for when I should maybe start a test cycle and which one? Any and all advice would be appreciated. I’m trying to lose weight and build muscle at the same time, I’m strong now but not toned. Just a corn fed country boy.

I would not recommend starting a test cycle until you have achieved a healthy weight and are comfortable with your body. You have accomplished a great deal already, but it is important to take the time to make sure your health and well-being come first. You should continue to focus on a healthy diet and exercise routine and make sure you are adequately hydrated. As for which test cycle to use, that will depend on your goals and what kind of results you are looking for. You may want to consult with a physician or a nutritionist to help you decide what the best course of action is for you.

Congrats on your progress so far and I personally would focus more on getting that body fat lower prior to starting any testosterone. When you incorporate test and have low body fat, the body utilizes the testosterone much better and you have less negative sides to deal with when your body fat is low. Treat this as a marathon, not a sprint and it truly does take time. Be patient and wish you well

I’m not in a rush to ruin my potential because I was impatient, any and all advice are welcomed and very much appreciated. My goal was to get to 205 and I think if I can get to 195-200 I’ll start my first ever cycle. I’m still researching everything and want to make sure I’m making the right choice. And as far as cardio goes that was my biggest obstacle, I went for a run a few months back and got to the end of my driveway before I made an excuse as why I shouldn’t go. Now I’m running 3-5 miles a day broke up in the mornings and night. As well as weights daily. I’ll get there but it will be a process but definitely worth it in the end.

I feel you on the running part. I fucking hated running in the army and I fucking hate running now. I speed walk uphill, cycle or elliptical. Sounds like you got your goals in order. Keep up the good work brother!

I hate cardio more than anything lol. So I understand what you went through. But nobody thinks of the heart as being the most important muscle to get in shape. You'll get there and keep at it.

A lot don't like to hear this but give it a good year at least of "natural" lifting. Want to lower the BF% as much as possible to get as many benefits as possible from test. Get your diet on point and cardio, cardio, cardio. Strengthen the heart too. Take this shit serious if you really want to run gear.

Get in the 12-15% BF range.
