First Cycle - High BP
My blood pressure is having some spikes this week so I'm concerned. Looking for advice on diagnosing and resolving that.
Since my last pin my BP had several spikes in the 150s and one in the 160s, but still averaging in the lower 130s. That's way higher than I've seen before. Got a CBC this morning and everything looks good except high wbc auto at 11.3 and absolute monocytes at 1.1. I got some real nasty PIP after my last pin. Maybe a small infection on the last pin. Does that happen? Would that explain it? How concerned should I be?
My cycle so far. Pinning everything M-W-F
Pre-cycle. Got bloods. Looked good.
Ran 300mg/wk test-e for 5 weeks
Got bloods. Looked good.
Added 200mg/wk mast-e for 5 weeks
Got bloods. Looked good. BP average up almost 10 points compared to pre-cycle
Added 100mg/wk NPP 10 days ago.
Started getting BP spikes after the last pin. Got scared when it hit 160 and got bloods immediately.
The plan was to run NPP for a month before ending my cycle and dropping down to TRT. I'm debating on ending my cycle early and dropping down to 150/wk test-e for a couple months.
My long term goal is athletic performance over aesthetics. This cycle is intended to see how my body responds and be safe about it. Also running 500 HCG 3x wk and 2iu HGH daily.

I don’t jump in unless it’s an area I’m educated and/or knowledgeable in, I can help here. I’m OCD about my BP, monitor it more than I should to be fair. Ok, you’re manipulating your hormones and getting raised BP, it’s to be expected and is a reassurance that the drugs you’re taking are real. As far as the numbers go, you’re going to get very different answers from your family practice physician and a doctor that specializes in something like emergency medicine. The spikes into the 160s are something you’re going to want to figure out, I’d recommend looking at what you’ve done the prior few hours before taking the reading. Caffeine, nicotine, a salty meal, and how you’re taking the measurement. If possible you want to lay flat, breathe deeply, and relax for 10 minutes, this will give you a solid baseline reading. Then you can take it after walking, exercising, etc… but you need that baseline. Now back to the numbers, everybody wants <120/80 which is the generally accepted healthy BP, but we’re all going to be a little different, that will go for any test value we’re looking at with only a few exceptions. 130/85 is a good number to try to maintain while on cycle, for some individuals that will be the norm, but your spikes that are above 150 do dictate some attention. Are you going to have a stroke or heart attack? No. Are you putting stress on your kidneys and vascular system? Yes, I can explain that further if you want a PM. Specialists and ER docs want to fix you and send you on your way to live your life, family physicians want to prescribe you drugs and stay in your life, which isn’t always a bad thing, but they’re not making any money if they’re not seeing you a couple of times a year and writing you prescriptions every 30-90 days. Bottom line is I’d say you’re ok, but you need to get a handle on those spikes, if you step back and look at your entire picture, I’m betting you’ll figure it out. Best wishes buddy
200 mast and 100 npp a week ?
What are day hikes 3-5 hours( intense ) = to in STEPS
Maybe I'm just sensitive to it, but cialis drops my BP significantly on cycles. I love it. I track my BP religiously morning and night.
What are you doing to mitigate the blood pressure? How high is you're BF? How is your e2 ? Adding NPP may have added to it and that's spiking you're BP.
There's lots of articles here on nutritional supplements to help BP , but high E2, high BF, no cardio, can be the root of the issue. How is your diet looking?
I was doing 20 min per day zone 2 cardio. Just upped it to 40. I do day hikes on the weekends for 3-5hrs of intense cardio.
My most recent E2 hasn't come back yet. Last month E2 was at 77. I've popped 0.25 Arimidex a few times, when I had signs - bloating, mood swings, no morning wood. I haven't had symptoms for a few weeks so I haven't used it.
BF was a little over 20% when I started. I lost 2 inches in my waist despite gaining 5lbs so I'm up to 230 now. My buddy said it looks like my gut moved to my shoulders, but I'm probably still just under 20%.
Diet I switched up about a month ago. I was doing keto for a few months but my coach recommended I bring back carbs and reduce my fat intake so I did. I know I need to up my protein and get my fats lower. That's a constant struggle.
Any thoughts on the WBC or monocytes?
If my BP stays under 140 all day with no spikes I'm thinking I'll keep the NPP. If it goes over I'll drop it and finish my cycle without it. Does that sound prudent/safe?
If you used .25 Adex symptoms may go away but it is still there, they don't go away with use. Once you find a certain compound does what to you, that's what it is going to do.
20% is pretty high for doing cycles that isn't an insult but you have to get locked in.
Any thoughts on the WBC or monocytes? Yes, could be inflammation from many things, a carrier oil might not be sitting well with you. Or something else altogether.
High 130s for blood pressure, not ideal. Honestly, if you are trying to be safe drop he extras run test get BF down to 15% continue on the cardio, hikes, and diet locked in. Once you are in that goal range I bet your BP is better and estro is easier to control.
Best of luck and keep up the good work.
All true.
First cycle, accurate physical stats would say/help out a lot too. No BF posted at 225.
