+ 3 Bloodwork advice for 1st cycle
ad
How's it going!
I just wanted to ask a quick question to see if someone could point me in the direction of the most cost-efficient option here.
Im about to start my first cycle of Test-C and want to get my bloodwork done before I start, obviously.
My question is, are the things I'm looking at getting tested sufficient enough, and is there a cheaper way to achieve these results?
I went through "requestatest" and currently have in my cart:
CBC (Labcorp)
CMP (Labcorp)
Lipids Panel (Labcorp)
Male Hormone Panel, Comprehensive (Labcorp)
Total: $581.00
They offer a basic hormone panel but it doesnt seem to include cortisol, GH, IGF-1, Prolactin, or PSA.
I'm assuming I need what I listed above, just looking for any advice I can get. Thanks

I found a better alternative for myself so thought I would share. LabCorp direct was crazy expensive when I looked into it.
Anabolic Insights seems to be the most cost effective and lets you build you custom panels for all markers needed and you can test at Quest or LabCorp.
It also lets you upload old labs and track your labs in their system to keep track of everything. So you can set it up to track bloods before blast, mid, post, on a chart to review trends. Pretty dope.
They have some off the shelf ones that look good recently used this Complete Men’s Panel: https://www.anabolicinsights.ai/labs/panels/vital-metrics-men-edition
Also found a code online for extra 10% off: halfnatty
Like $270 out the door with the 10% off through LabCorp or $215 through Quest.
I did end up building my own panel for pre/mid/post blast that costs a little more but has everything I need. The markers I added through Quest Option (cheapest):
Cbc Morphology
Gamma Glutamyl Transferase (GGT)
Lipid Panel, Standard
Insulin
Thyroid Panel with TSH
DHEA Sulfate, Immunoassay
Dihydrotestosterone
Hemoglobin A1c
Estradiol, Ultrasensitive, LC/MS
Cystatin C with Glomerular Filtration Rate, Estimated (eGFR)
Apolipoprotein Evaluation
Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG)
C-Reactive Protein (CRP)
CBC (includes Differential and Platelets)
PSA, Total
Comprehensive Metabolic Panel
Platelet Estimation
Prolactin
Testosterone, Free (Dialysis) and Total, MS
DocMcGainsPrices seem high - I got the male comprehensive (does not include estrodial sensitive assay and test caps out at 1500, so worthless if you're on cycle) and complete metabolic, blood, and lipids for $210.
I also get bloods ordered through my TRT clinic every six months, covered by insurance. The doc basically will run whatever tests I ask of him, so I get the fancy stuff (GGT, ApoB, Cystatin C, cortisol, prolactin etc) on that one.
Do you lower dosages of things early, between those 6 month bloods with your clinic? I’m wondering how to do my first cycle but don’t know that I should tell my clinic my plan and risk my prescription being pulled

Thanks for the help everyone, had no idea how much this would be but I knew those prices were insane!
I will give you the best advice I got. Explore local TRT clinics.
I PAY $159/MONTH ALL IN:
My local clinic prescribes and provides me with basically 20 CC test 200mg every 3 months (great to use for cruise and just set aside while blasting UGL’s)
Unlimited on demand blood testing, literally walk in between 9am-4pm get a blood draw they will do a standard full panel and add on anything else you want, fasting insulin IGF1 ApoB ETC ETC
No they don’t trip when my IGF 1 is 600+ and Total test is 2,800+
Best $159 bucks a month you can spend if you’re hanging in this lifestyle.
Exactly, that’s what I do as well, labs included, and my TRT Test Cyp is included at that price. I keep that for after cycle and go into my TRT doses, plus I like having the RX for when I travel
100% bro
I do also donate blood with good labs and get free labs from them, but that’s my fallback for additional labs so I don’t freak out the TRT clinic too much--
Brother. Superpower with a discount code of $20 off.
You’ll pay $180 and get 100+ biomarkers, don’t you dare pay that.
Bro your getting completely scammed on that. Go to this link and sign up, you'll thank me later bro

This was a top tier suggestion, thanks a million brother. Got my labs scheduled for tomorrow & that’s when the gear touches down too!
For reference if I didn’t need to schedule the lbs for tomorrow and could’ve waited, I would’ve gotten them for $120 with your discount. Even though I had to go through labcorp for an open time tomorrow morning, it was still only $250.
Hell yeah brother, much better then $581. Fuck all that, that's just outrageous and complete robbery.
I used your reference code, got the bloodwork done this morning & the gear just landed.
Hell yeah! Hope your bloods are green across the board, then you can get wild.
Thank you for this. I used Rythm last time and was unhappy because of the cap they have on test/e2. Everything else I could find was $250+ and didnt even have all of the biomarkers needed.
bro I just checked this out, thank you for putting me on!
Np brother man
Order the same labs thru Jason Health, should be much cheaper.
You’ve got all the necessary bases covered, and then some. Which is a good thing. Thumbs up for being responsible about your new endeavor. Best wishes bud
I appreciate it!
Are there any that you would consider unnecessary or redundant in this stage for me?
Nah man, you’ve got your bases covered. Most clinics won’t even test for everything that you are, but they should. As others here have said, you could probably find better pricing, but that’s up to you. You have a very smart plan laid out with what you’ve put together.
Go to hellogoodlabs and order a panel for $70 and you can add on whatever ancillaries you want it will cover cbc cmp lipids test and ultra sens e2. Then add if you want a few ancillaries. $500 is wayyy too much.
