+ 1 Took my first shot today, feeling really bloated and full in stomach all day(It was Tirz)

ad

Edit: Pretty positive it was just a stronger than normal reaction to the Tirz. The next two days have been symptomless.

Took my first dose of 1.5 iU today around 5pm( plan on doing it in the morning normally, but read late afternoon is also a good time and I wanted to be proper awake)

A few issues. It was hard to get the exact dosage, I tried to draw the fluid into the syringe but it kept getting sucked out, even though I drew air into the syringe first. I read somewhere that I might have to inject air into it first till the pressure equalizes a bit more?

I pinched the skin and injected with the needle at 90degrees.: I’m using 31 gauge, 6mm needles. It entered the top layer easily but then I felt like a resistance? I had to push in to get it to go through? Not sure if that’s normal or not? I don’t think I reached muscle, but worries I did it wrong.

No redness or swelling at injection site but my abdomen feels really full and like pressured, and seems to be centered around where I injected. Could be coincidence as I injected on my left side of the belly button.

Might be my tizerpatide too, as I’ve been feeling queasy and have been belching a lot.

Also felt really tired the rest of the day.

I reconstitute with 2ml of water instead of 1ml; with it diluted into more volume it makes it easier for me to more accurately dose my injections. Just my .02

I have never heard of or experienced bloating or stomach fullness as you describe on HGH. Actually I experience the opposite as I have a tendency to eat more while administering HGH.

I did 2.4mL since my vials are 24 iU, that way every .1ml is 1 iu

The bloat is definitely from the Tirzepatide. 1.5 iu injection of GH is not going to cause that. The vacuum seal is normal and a good thing as mentioned. I would advise to take your dose prior to bed, two hours after you are done eating for the day. It's not that it won't work if you don't, but you can run into insulin resistance issues if done consistently (however, unlikely on 1.5 iu).

You’re talking about HGH, right?

Yeah, a vial with vacuum is a good thing. If you noticed, when you stuck the syringe in for reconstituting it, it should’ve sucked all the BAC water in all by itself. Getting a good dose will get easier.

I think morning doses can make people tired. I inject an hour or so after my last meal and ride the sweet sleep train to Gainsville.

I don’t think the GH and gassy stomach are related - I’ve never experienced that as a side effect before. I’d say your bloat is diet related more than GH related.

You might feel some resistance when pinning, but as long as you pinched out your own skin, it’ll be hard to get muscle - though intramuscular injections aren’t a bad thing. Learn about different SubQ injection spots, too, so you can cycle through them.

I think you’re doing fine - you asked some good beginner questions! Keep at it! Looking forward to hearing about your progress.

Yeah probably the Tirz, didn't happen today, but I've never had a bloat that bad as yesterday.

You taking metformin with it as well? The first week or 2 you definitely get bloated and put on some water retention. But it should go away after 2 weeks.
