HGH Testing Validity - Best Practices
Does anyone actually give any weight to HPLC testing for generic GH? Seems like it's basically a waste of time for several reasons:
1) GH is a 191–amino-acid protein with complex folding, disulfide bridges, specific tertiary structure, and biologic activity dependent on shape, not just a peptide sequence
2) HPLC cannot determine whether the GH is properly folded (misfolded can create immune response), whether it’s biologically active, whether it contains host-cell protein contamination, whether it contains dangerous aggregates, whether it matches the exact human GH sequence (HPLC testing is too small to test entire 191aa sequence
3) HPLC is only capable of separating molecules based on polarity or size, showing a “peak” where something elutes, confirming something is present at some retention time, estimating chemical purity if you know exactly what you’re looking for
With all that said, is the real best practice to inject IM and then go get blood drawn ~3 hours later, and test actual levels of GH in the blood? Any concerns about creating an immune response over time that not only attacks the rHGH you pin, but your own GH as well (not only rendering the supraphysiologic HGH irrelevant, but destroying your own GH pathway for good).

Never heard of anyone not producing GH after stopping rHGH within a few days.
Also, never heard of anyone having a bad reaction to rHGH shots.
