Can HGH help with acne and scarring?

ad

I know it can improve skin and hair, but has anyone had any major improvements with acne prevention or acne scars getting better?

TIA

Bro you need to go to a dermatologist or skin esthetician. There are treatments available to correct acne scars. Laser resurfacing, dermabrasion, chemical peeling, needling, soft tissue fillers and skin care products. Check Groupon for specials being run in your area. Buy a Groupon and get your ass in there. Leave any stigmas about only women doing this at the door.

While HGH will improve skin overall, it wont make deep acne scars or pitting go away.

That's a good way to put it. I'd add that it really depends on how you looked in your younger years. If the acne scars and pitting got worse with age, the HGH should help a bit with them.

A treatment you can do at home called microneedling is extremely effective in treating acne scars.

Microneedling is a fairly new technique in cosmetic procedures. You use a roller with hundreds of tiny needles (usually about 0.5mm - 1.5 mm deep) to stimulate new collagen production. The rollers are available on Amazon or Ebay and cost under $20.

In piercing your skin multiple times, you release growth factors that help produce collagen and elastin. Collagen is your natural filler and smooths out wrinkles, scares, enlarged pores, etc. Elastin keeps the skin tight. You can find a good review of the evidence for microneedling in this article: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5556180/.

Combining microneedling with HGH should, in theory, make it even more effective because both stimulate the production of collagen. Be sure to treat your acne first as I believe you are not supposed to use the rollers on acne. It takes a few months to really take effect, but about 1.5 months in, people are already noticing my younger looking skin.

Here's what I recommend:

  1. Buy 4 rollers (0.5mm, .75mm, 1.0mm and 1.5mm). If you can find a brand called Koi, it's a few bucks more but the rollers are better.
  2. Buy some numbing/disinfecting cream or spray (Dr. Numb or Bactine is good).
  3. Use the shortest length that will cause blood spots. Different areas of the face have different skin thickness, so you will need to experiment. If you don't see blood, you aren't penetrating deep enough.
  4. Go over every part of your face 4 times, each time in a different direction (i.e., don't pull the roller backwards).
  5. Avoid the 1.5mm roller. Doctors use it because it creates the most trauma and therefore requires the fewest appointments, but it hurts a ton and causes lots of bleeding. I use it on my neck and chin where my skin is thickest.

Anyways, reply or PM if you have any questions.

Glad I can give back. One thing I forgot to add, don't microneedle more than once every fourteen days.

I have always wondered this. Coco butter stick works. So does that nutrogena face cream with retinol. I use another one that makes you my skin plump and healthy but I forgot the name. Use the coco butter stick at night and wash off in the morning.
I don’t get zits anymore but when I did getting sunlight prevented it better than anything else. Get a little sunburn or tan and absolutely NO zits.

I got o the beach. I have went to the tanning bed too and yes that works. Coco butter diminishes the scars really good. I can barley notice mine anymore. It has to be the stick though.
