Switch from HCG to CGC-1295/Ipamorelin?
Hey guys, as the title says, I'm currently on HCG and considering adding or switching to CJC/Ipam and looking for some input.
I'm 38, had testosterone level below 300, so went to a testosterone clinic. Provider had me start on HCG to see how I would respond and it turns out I actually responded really well and it brought my T-levels up to a normal healthy range so have simply been on 1,000IU once a week for 4 months. I feel generally better and am somewhat more motivated to go to the gym but now want to focus on getting some better strength and leanness results (without going the full Test route). Has anyone tried adding CJC/Ipam to HCG and if so, what were you're results? Or should I consider dropping HCG and just going with CJC/Ipam?
Unfortunately the clinic I went to really doesn't do much for peptides, if I want to get something stronger through them, it's pretty much just getting on a T cycle. Also, I eat a decent diet and exercise 3-5 times a week but have only seen minor improvements in the last 4 months.
Thanks for any advice since there's a lot of misinformation on social media.

HCG and CJC/Ipam address two different issues. HCG can elevate your testosterone production by acting on Leydig cells, stimulating them to produce and release intratesticular testosterone while studies have shown that CJC/Ipam elevates your growth hormone production and secretion. There is a benefit to optimizing in both areas. Here are a few articles to reference.

I am in a similar boat. Though I did not start on only HCG. I started on Test + HCG to prevent natural T shut down. With only 150 mg / week of TRT my life has completely changed - and I thought I was reasonably healthy before - but I have so much energy now - in bed especially, but also for daily tasks. TBH, I wouldn't be afraid to try out testosterone especially if you are already using HCG... You can stop at anytime and the HCG will have kept your natural test from shutting down.
Also, I am 41, 6', 200lb, exercise and eat well... so it sounds like we are reasonably similar.
