+ 1 Inhibiting somatostatin

ad

I've been researching inhibiting somatostatin (growth hormone-inhibiting hormone) due to my usage of Ghrps. Anyone familair with Ghrps and HGH, know that regular usage will inhibit the body's release of GH. Therefore, regular administering will become less effective over time Supplements with a choline base have shown in studies to increase hGH release. Phosphatidylcholine, Alpha GPC or CDP-choline are three choline based supplements that increase acetylcholine which is a neurotransmitter that blocks somatostatin.

Out of the three supplements that are choline based, Alpha GPC is the preffered choice. It's more expensive but has the highest level of absorbation of phosphatidylcholine. Administering 1000mg of Alpha GPC was shown in a study to increase GH release by 19x. My recommendation is to take Alpha GPC prior to training. On non training day, administer early in the day. Remember to consume foods rich in Amino Acids. Amino acids play an important role in the release of growth hormone. Lean Meats, fish, eggs, nuts, beans, dairy, grains, and seeds are rich in amino acids.

I've personally been taking Lecithin with Phosphatidylcholine. I'll be switching to Alpha GPC once my supply is exhausted. My diet is high in lean protein plus I supplement BCAA and EAA. I aslo take Huperzine A at 200mcg 3x a day. Huperzine A is known as a acetylcholineesterase inhibitors which increase acetylcholine levels. Increased acetylcholine levels inhibit somatostatin.

From what I understand I would be careful with acetylcholinesterase inhibitors. Too much and you can end up with sides similar to that of pesticide poisoning. I believe MK677 is a good place to start for researching gh potentiation. I tried huperzine many moons ago and didn't like how it made me feel. Did it for 4 weeks.

I research all supplements on selfhacked before including it in my regiment. No adverse side-effects have been observed at the dosage that I'm taking in clinical studies. I've never experienced any negative effects when taking 200mcg 3x a day. What was your daily dosage? What exactly did you experience symptom wise?
