+ 1 Elevated AST & ALT Levels
Has anyone experienced elevated AST & ALT levels with peptide usage? I just received my lab results (Quest Diagnostics), and my AST is 419 and ALT is 604. I'm currently taking Reta (2mg a week), GHK-Cu (2mg) & BPC-157 (500 mcg) 5 days on 2 days off, running a 20-day protocol with MOTS-C (5mg twice a week), and PEG-MGF (just started 400mcg and titrating up). I feel fine and the only reason my ALT & AST was brought to my attention was wanting to have a baseline with my bloodwork. I really think I may have reconstituted the 100mg GHK-Cu incorrectly and now taking a potentially higher dose than I should be. GHK-Cu toxicity is linked to elevated liver enzymes levels. Just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced anything like this. Thanks in advance for any potential insight given.

heatherkingMan, those are some crazy high levels! Glad to hear you got it sorted out and your numbers are trending in the right direction . Definitely a wake-up call to pay closer attention to what we're putting in our bodies. I've been reading up on TUDCA and milk thistle – might be worth adding to the arsenal.
I certainly hope you have taken those results to your doctor. I know people with end stage cihrosis with hepatic encephalopathy who's numbers are not even close to that and they have less than 2 years to live if they don't get a transplant. I would strongly suggest an appointment with a Hepatologist. Please be very honest with your doctors if drug use or alcohol is a part of your life. Those numbers are more than a little concerning. I am hoping the best for you.
Thanks for the kind words. Since that whole ordeal, I have gotten everything straightened out. It turned out to be an improper reconstitution with the GhK-Cu. It was way more potent than I thought it was and I was essentially dosing myself with too much. I ran labs multiple times to verify my ALT/AST levels were trending in the right direction once I got off all supplements/peptides. My ALT went from 604 to 277 to 91 within a matter of couple weeks. This whole experience was a blessing in disguise as it has brought me to be more in tune with tracking my bio markers.
Holy shit. In all my years doing this and seeing bloodwork I’ve never seen levels anywhere near that high. Stop taking everything and clear out. Get some liver supps, drink water and other stuff good for your liver.
Just a smidge high.
HOLY FREAKIN SHIT PAL - THAT'S SKY HIGH!!!
You better sort out whatever is causing that pronto, even when I went into hospital for liver and stomach pain I was only at 210 and that was on a shitload of trenbolone and DBol for months on end. This is the problem with research peptides - no one has a clue what they do to the human body.
Yeah, it has me spooked. The crazy thing I feel fine and not experiencing any abdominal pain. I would have never known if it wasn't for the bloodwork obviously. I've already looped in my primary care physician and plan on detoxing. Hoping the new blood draw has a drastic drop with the elevated liver enzymes. Thanks for the insight.
TUDCA, Artichoke Extract, Astragalus Root, B12, Folic Acid, Vit C & D, Zinc, Glutamine, Choline Bitartrate, Milk Thistle - Take it all!!!
I've already started a protocol that has me supplementing NAC, TUDCA, Milk Thistle, Vitamin C, Alpha-Lipoic Acid and Fish Oil at specific intervals of the day. I'll be running labs in approximately a week to verify AST & ALT levels have dropped (fingers crossed). Thanks for the other recommendations, I'll take a look into those as well.

When my Liver readings were high, I had an appointment with the hepatologist at the hospital and he wanted to do a Biopsy on me to see where things were. I freaked out at the prospect of this and he said okay - come back in 2 weeks and if the numbers haven't fallen enough then thats what we will be doing. Bro here became a Born again Christian upon leaving the Hospital and began praying morning and night - luckily after smashing the supplements and coming off all but testosterone I was fine when I went back. The nurse helping him was extremely sexy too, but that still didn't have me wanting to have a knitting needle sized biopsy needle inserted through my side ribcage into my Liver LOL
Damn bro that sounds funny in retrospect but I'm sure it was a nightmare to go through. I ended up getting another comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP) ran again and my ALT dropped from 604 to 227. I'm just thankful my levels are trending in the right direction and will follow up with another panel in the near future to verify I get within the nominal range.
I do not think it is the Reta causing it because I have lab results when I was on 3.5mg a week of Reta and my AST and ALT was normal. It very well could be the other peptides, you could try cutting them down and re-test or try taking a liver detox supplement and see if that helps out. I have never had mine elevated even when on gear.
Thanks for the insight man. I don't believe it's the Reta as well. I'm going to throttle back on the hefty stack and just go with Reta and have my labs redone in 3-4 weeks to see if the levels decrease.
