TRT and Cycles

ad

Hey all. I’m getting back into the swing of things. I’m prescribed TRT subq 100mg a week. When upping dose of gear, do you continue to use what is prescribed and supplement it or get off the prescribed and use only non prescribed?

So I can contribute here with some of my own experence Wildling since I am also on Doc prescribed TRT. The script juice is darn near perfect when it comet to MG dosage and as you may have already experienced it takes a few round of bloods to hit the numbers your Doc wants to see. At least for me it did.
I played around with some oils from sources here with a wide array of rollcoaster results when it came time for bloods. You will never be able to completely dial in on the numbers you from your script oil. Most oils I have obtained are overdosed which may be a good thing for some folks but not if you are trying to maintain that magic number to keep Doc prescribing.
Off cycle as new bloods are needed for Doc I make sure I allow plenty of time for my levels to clear and my script oil to hit that baseline again. It's tricky once you drop back down to cruise especially when you drop in an AI. Luckily Doc only tests me once a year so I can plan my cycles around that. So in a nutshell I personally keep Docs juice for cruise and to meet my accuratwlly meet my numbers for his blood work.

I have pretty much free rein, but they want to see me every six months in a perfect world. My levels are around 400 on TRT. In a perfect world, I’d be twice that. The stuff I have on hand is about five years old, but I keep everything in a stable environment. I guess I’ll know by how I feel in four weeks if the stuff I have still fits the bill.

Save you Rx for off cycle. UGL can vary quite a bit in labeled dose and could throw off your numbers when getting tested by your doc so I would advise against any UGL testosterone when getting bloods tested by doc.

Sounds good. I was planning on pushing doctor ordered blood work four weeks beyond last dose beyond TRT. Hopefully things will stabilize?

Your choice. Doesn't matter (much) as long as you're not overusing your prescribed product causing refill red flags.

My thought was just stock up on the script in the mean time and that way I can wait for bloods a couple weeks after cycle is over once I’m on a “normal” dose. Thanks Greg.
