SubQ or IM

ad

So for context not scared of needles by any means I've done plenty of both SubQ and IM. What are the pros and cons, any major differences between the two? I ask only because I'm not aromatizing very much at all, but my Hematocrit seems to be rising quickly. I'm currently running 65mg EOD IM as per doctor's orders. I'm drinking at least a half gallon of water a day but usually closer to a full gallon. Natto is also currently included in my vitamin regimen.

Im very opinionated on this subject.
NEVER subQ for oils. Peptides only for subq.
I wont even take vitamins subQ. Why? Because its just stupid.
We have to understand that lots of doctors sadly are not that bright nor educated enough on this subject. Advocating patients on TRT to subQ oil based compounds is again, beyond stupid.
Never subq oil. Its that simple.

The doctor is not advocating for subQ. This was purely for my own personal knowledge gain because I've heard levels are more consistent with sides with subQ injections. But to be fair there is a lot of verified blood work of people using oils subQ.

I was merely mentioning how lots of doctors actually advise subQ for TRT administration, which again, is absolutely stupid.
Oils are for intramuscular injection only. While one MAY have sucess pinning Subq oils, it is not recommended nor advisable.
Subq increases the likelyhood of lumps that wont go away, infection, absess and the works.
We are all looking to optimize our protocols to maximize results. SubQ oil injection does not accomplish this task.

I appreciate your input. I'm definitely leaning towards just continuing IM and hoping the HCT levels out of I switch to everyday.

IM for oils.
Sub-Q for HGH, peptides.
Seems like guys have some bloods showing higher bioavailability compared to when they did IM with older labs. Might try this out in the future.
Thanks for the post

I only ever do SUB-Q even for oils. But I don't do a large amount of AAS. I get lumps if I use high concentration Test (300mg/mL) so I dilute it. Good quality 250mg/mL Test-E in MCT oil did not leave me with any lumps as long as I heat the dose a bit and rub it in post injection. I tend to get lumps with longer esters like those found in Sustanon but I just dilute it a bit more. I go for the glutes for sub-q. Specifically the part that will contact the chair. So every time I get up and sit back down, it squishes in a bit more.

SUB-Q is a slower absorption but idk if that will fix the hematocrit issue. Being low on 180mg sounds strange to me but i guess it happens. My hematocrit is at 51 being on only 100mg Sustanon.

Vigorous Steve has good videos covering sub-q vs IM and when those makes sense to do.

Thanks I'll check those videos out. After 6 weeks at that dose I was at 608 total and 12.3 free test, when I started I was at 173 total and 2.97 free test.

On trt I did subq, but didnt like oil lumps, so I am doing with same insuling needle pinning into the shoulder. Its painless, no lumps. But depends on your bodyfat %.

I would never pin any oil sub q. Also most drs are pretty clueless with trt, the fear with hematocrit is so overblown.

Mine went from 47 to 54 in 6 weeks, I'm new to this so just trying to to learn what I can. I was on 180mg a week but my levels are still on the low end so they bumped me up to 220mg.

I do testo E IM with insulin syringes every day. Very comfortable. Much more stable levels than twice a week

For any oil at all it's always gonna be IM, if its a peptide then I'll run SubQ

Sub Q gave me painful oil lumps. I am a fan of every day pinning. You arnt far off from it and injections don’t seem to bother you. I’d give that a go and make sure you are hydrated.

That's what I'm worried about. I got a fair bit of loose skin on my stomach and a little bit of fat left. Don't want it to turn into a sack of marbles --

Do you have at least 8 sites to rotate through? I find that helps with ED injections. My oil volume even running a gram of gear was only like .55 a day
