Low test?
ad
Hello everyone. It's been a while since I posted anything. I have a dilemma going on here. So I have natural for going on about 2 years now and have been feeling down lately so I went and got my t levels checked. My results came back as 280 for total test. I will be 29 in a few days. That being said, the doctor said that was not low enough to get trt so I did some more research and the normal levels are generally from 300 to around 800 or so. I changed my diet and have been working out seriously and am wondering what the hell should/can I do to get my levels back up? Any information would be helpful and am open to any criticism. Thank you

Try Boron it costs almost nothing and has been shown to increase low testosterone naturally. People jump on TRT way too fast before trying other alternatives. Also try a peptide called GNRH or Triptorelin, Horny Goat Weed but only of it's cold pressed not the dry powdered crap.
Will definitely look into these! Thank you for the advice brother
6mg a day of Boron is what I take
Sorry to hear this, I have a little experience in the medical field. If you just got off methadone a few months ago, that means you probably used opiates and they are very addictive. I personally know this, I know what you are going through. The longer you where on the opioids and then methadone the more your test and other things have been thrown off, 3 months off methadone is great congratulations. It is going to take time for your natural test to increase. Like others have said here eat right, exercise, stay positive, don’t stress, it will all come back as long as you stay away hard drugs. Your on the right track, I know it’s hard it’s one minute at a time. You will thank yourself, I also don’t think you should even touch test right now. Just let your body heal
Right on brother thank you for the input!
You're doing it, "I changed my diet and have been working out seriously". That and good sleep, little or no alcohol and time.
I currently don't drink or use any substances. Thanks for the input brother!
You are whats considered low normal; What advice did your doctor give you? I'm pretty sure he didnt just say nope and told you to fuck off. you are not a candidate, maybe you should check other things besides watching ads. Could be your thyroid, could be your overweight, could be stress, could be your diet, could be a hundred things besides your balls not working. Change your diet, get more exercise, stop being so stressed out, Your levels do not come back overnight; its going to take a few months. Just keep up with your changes and follow the doctors plan to get it back up.
Yes he did say I was borderline low but all my labs came back as perfectly normal. He did say it was most likely due do the methadone but I have since been off for about 2 or 3 months so he said it should go back up to normal levels after awhile. He just mainly suggested having a well rounded diet along with well rest and exercise. I have been doing that so I'm hoping things will kick back up. I'm just curious as too any advice or information the guys on here can provide me with or maybe someone has experienced something similar.
The methadone tanked your levels. Listen to your doc and give it time. In the meantime you can also try to raise your free test.

Fuck man that's a good read. Thank you
TricepatopsBro it is 100% the methadone that caused you to have low Testosterone. I can go into a long post but I won't go and look up long term opiate use or PAWS. Their will be articles on how to reboot your brain and hopefully your testosterone. But unfortunately it is methadone that has done that
I have been trying at recovery since 18 lol just had a relapse after almost 2 years. Lost everything now I'm back in the rooms starting from scratch again. Sucks big time but is necessary
TricepatopsBro recovery for addicts is an everyday thing. Need to stay focused on that and if it is like depression or anything other then cravings then seek help. Maybe look into taking antidepressant I hate suggesting that but unfortunately some of us do need it as you damaged your receptors from long term use. And recovery is hard nothing to laugh at some people it is easier some it is harder. If you have a craving or a shitty day whatever makes you think about relapsing try to have help or something to make you think twice about using. Some NA others have other ways you need to find one that works. Maybe you did and slip ups do happen just make sure if you do it isnt going to cost you ever thing you got back. Nothing feel so shitty after the fact realizing the money you lost and the people you hurt. Also it is a disease not just stop and it is over you have this the rest of your life
x2
You took methadone and now you ask why your test level is low? It's a hard drug and you're not 20 years old.
True I'm just mainly worried if it may have done permanent damage. Do you think that is even possible?
You have already passed puberty and I do not think that your test can be high.
Not high necessarily but maybe back to normal ranges?
TricepatopsIt depends on how long you used. Say you used two years then look at one year to get back to feeling normal and probably that long to get back to normal function for test. Though it may never come back. It depends on each person. But I am sure if you have an addiction specialist they can help with testosterone recovery or refer you to someone. If they say they don't think it cause that then you need a new specialist or give him the numerous studies that are done.
RustyhookerYessir. That will kill it. Research Horney goat weed. Science shows it helps to get you back up. I fo not advice the goat weed with yohimbine. Yohimbine makes me feel like bugs crawling on me.
Yeah yohimbine makes me feel super bugged out
