knowledge needed please

ad

ok guys im needing to draw on your knowledge and get some advice as im all out of ideas.

Basically been running cycles for a good few years, although ive not been living on them! I always do a decent PCT, and my cycles usually a bulk up and cut for summer, never been running any cycle for more than 14 weeks.

Ive not been using any gear now for maybe 2 years, everything has balanced out fine apart from my libido, its gone!!!! Everything works fine but the urge just isnt there.

I bit the bullet and got bloods done and they came back all good, doc comments that my natural test is even at the higher end of normal!!

Anyway ive copied the test results below,

ENDOCRINOLOGY

D.H.E.A. SULPHATE 8.970 umol/L 0.44 - 13.40
FOLLICLE STIM. HORMONE 6.64 IU/L 1.50 - 12.40
LUTEINISING HORMONE 2.9 IU/L 1.70 - 8.60
TESTOSTERONE 25.4 nmol/L 7.60 - 31.40
SEX HORMONE BINDING GLOB 39.9 nmol/L 16.00 - 55.00
FREE ANDROGEN INDEX 63.66 Ratio 24.00 - 104.00

So is it TRT time to get the libido back???

Note: I am making my assumptions based on the fact that you have low estrogen because your testosterone levels seem to be high. The reason you have no sex drive is not a physical reason, so going on trt will not change anything. Also trt would probably put your test levels where they are now. Seems more like a mental problem. Avoid stress, watch less porn, cut back on the self relieving.

hi guys, thanks for everyones input, been impossible for me to get on here frequently enough to answer everyone.i will get full bloods done again with estrogen and prolactin included,i did have these checked last year but they were fine,, however, not watching porn, not on any meds or prescriptions, diet is ok not the best ive had but pretty damn clean, will have a look more into zeusmarada advice regarding diet.
Stress could be a factor but didnt think it would affect only my libido

You got bloods doe yet??

Stress, prolonged heavy weed usage, porn addiction and sleeplessness all immediately come to mind as killers of libido. If these aren't factors for you, then an unmentioned logical approach on this thread would be to change the foods you consume.

One thing that is "easy" to address would be diet. I'm a nazi when it comes to experimenting with diet.

LET FOOD BE THY MEDICINE!!!

I tell a lot of guys this, so if you've read my rants before, I apologize for the redundancy. I'm sharing it here so other men (and women) reading this in the future might glean some info from my own experiences.

Cutting out sugar and corn syrup can literally change your life for the radically better within a week or less. Sugar is a slow poison that kills us over decades. Keep eating fruits & veggies, DUH!, but lay off the sweets and sodas.

If you're a meat eater, not all meat is equal. If you're eating cheap corn fed meat from big chain grocers, it would be worth the experiment to buy beef (or pork, or chicken, etc) from a grass fed ranch. Same with fish, eat wild caught fish instead of farm raised fish.

Again, if this doesn't pertain to you, try a completely different eating approach. There are a lot of different dietary ways to eat. If you haven't experimented with paleo, keto, vegan, fasting, etc, then you're leaving a very powerful tool in the off position on your work bench instead of putting it to use. Get to experimenting with diet (if you haven't yet tried!).

The nice part about taking three months to try vegan, or keto, etc, is that if you REALLY COMMIT to an eating style, then you find out it doesn't work for you, that's easy to check it off the list. Diet is SO DAMN IMPORTANT. (I tried going vegan, I liked the recipes, but for my body, I simply feel so much better eating game & grass fed beef. SO MUCH BETTER. At least I tried it, and now I know.)

I promise you, with your blood work numbers, assuming prolactin and estrogen come back in normal ranges, your problem isn't chemical. Psychological, perhaps physiological, but certainly not from the point of your endocrine system being fucked.

If you wake up with morning wood, then you'll know that it's not a physical problem. You're still capable of hard ons. It's simply being able to utilize them when the moment arises, or in the case of libido, you want your desire to match the ability. Stress is a killer. That's a different post altogether. Anyways, keep us posted, brother. Like the lads below, I'm requesting your e and prolactin numbers too, please. We're rooting for you.

You need estrogen and prolactin numbers as a first step. Guys told you below. What about other medication- are you on anything?

Bearded_muscle's picture

Definitely not trt time. Those are great numbers.

You watch much porn? If so stop. Helps some guys.

TRT won't give your libido back based on your bloodwork. Your natty levels are higher than what you would be looking for with TRT so no doc would ever put you on TRT given those numbers. Try freeing up some more test and definitely get your estro checked like others have mentioned.

Estrogen??? What is your estrogen number??

Low or high can cause problems.

doc comments that my natural test is even at the higher end of normal!!

And so may be the conversion to estrogen.

maybe not, dont know what other route to go down, ive tried caber and clomid to deal with prolactin and estrogen with no change,

dont smoke or drink

Blood pressure or stress can also do this. Maybe your just not in the mood..

Maybe the problem isn’t hormone related. Did you have your estrogen and prolactin checked? Do you drink or smoke?
