Injecting trt dose sub-q

ad

Has anyone tried injecting their trt weekly dose using a insulin pin? Instead of using 200mg test c in two or one shot, injecting 50mg eod sub-q 4 times per week? Supposedly it helps keep e2 in a very steady level and also there are no ups and downs less mood changes etc. Has anyone here tried it? Any idea if the risk for abscess is still the same with such low ml doses?

So anyone doing this? Sounds interesting.

It seems that women that want to be men inject their test sub-q.There are a few youtube videos showing women doing this.It also seems to be the way most hrt doctors in Canada are doing it.Also, there was a study done where they actually ended up having to lower the dosage because the testosterone blood levels went higher than they wanted.I did a google search and came up with this information.Interesting.Who's first?lol

Here is a link to the article I read.It has a bunch of different studies.Study #51 is the one I was referring to. http://proactivealternatives.com/testosterone/5th%2520World%2520Congress...

So would you be better switching to a prop ester then? Or does that not matter.

Yes you can use an insulin needle but from expierience man use a 27 guage needle, its a pain in the ass loading it with a 29g. Also you are correct more frequent smaller doses is ALWAYS better, it has a smaller peak and trouph than doing a once weekly. Ive read somwhere about a TRT doctor in Georgia who administers test cype sub q top his patients and had to end up using like 25mg more "which is no big deal" to achieve stable blood levels. Thier are several reasons subq is better trt, some are afraid it will make more estrogen cuase your injecting test cype into fat or under skin thats right next to fat and it will aromatize but since the testosterone molecule is attached to an ester it wont, but people who use testogels have to problem of testosterone converting to esrogen while passing thrue the epidermal fat layer.

An insulin pin is something like 29ga, ...........your going to need to super heat the oil to get it to go.

This isn't correct, but surprisingly common that people think this. I use 30 gauge insulin pins for my Test Cyp. I put the needle in before getting in the shower and pull back and hang it from a toothbrush holder before I get in. When I get out, it is full and I do my injection. Test is stored at room temperature. It takes about a minute for it to load.

The small diameter also makes injection times very quick. 0.5 mL is about 10 seconds into deltoid and teardrop.

Aren't insulin pins usually one piece? So you use the same to draw and pin, correct? Have you had any issues with it getting dull from drawing the test prior to the shot? I'm down with trying smallest needle possible! lol just worried it might get dull.

No needle dulling issues at all. I reuse my slin pins (I'm a cheap bastard and they're difficult to obtain in my state, sadly). I can usually use a pin for 3-4 days injecting daily (going into the vial and into my skin, so two jabs per day really) before it gets too dull or, more likely, the needle starts to bend at the base.

I use Watson's Test Cyp. Admittedly, this is the only experience I have personally with using insulin pins with Test. I can definitely see some variation in the viscosity, but I am a member of another site with a pretty knowledgeable steroid crowd, and there are many guys there that use insulin pins for the majority of their gear. I am starting an AAS blast cycle with Test Prop and Tren Ace in the next week and am planning to use insulin pins for that as well, so I will report back on whether I have the same success.

Oops forgot to answer the second part of your question. I haven't seen slin pins with a barrel larger than 0.5 mL, which is the only drawback. I'd like to see 1.0 mL.

As for the esters, I have injected 100 mg/mL Tren Ace and 200 mg/mL Test Cyp (pharmaceutical grade). Both are fine. I like the higher concentration stuff since you can get more weight in at a time.

It doesn't "drip out"...the small barrel of the slin pin creates such an intense vaccum that it basically boils out. It isn't like turning on a faucet. My Watson's Test Cyp takes about 2 minutes to load 0.5 mL (200 mg/mL). The actual injection time is 10-12 seconds.

I'm currently using Tren Ace (100 mg/mL) and injecting it as well using insulin pins. Fill time is much lower, like 15-20 seconds for 0.5 mL. Injection time is similar depending on how hard you press (I don't press hard cause the ace buuuuuuuurns).

I don't inject SC though, all of them are IM. The 0.5" needle is just enough to get into my deltoids, tear drops, and upper quads (I am very lean in all these areas). It is probably a shallow IM, but IM nonetheless (I don't get the pockets of oil like I do if injecting SC, which I have tried).

Hope this helps. Bottom line--don't knock it till you tried it. There is a ton of "bro knowledge" out there saying you can't use insulin pins--these bros are not good to listen to and are flat out wrong.

I thought you could only inject im
