How many guys got Insurance that actually covers THT ?

I got Blue Cros blue Shield and it pasys for the therapy and the co pays are not bad either for 2000k in gear paid only 280 . But since I went to under ground suppliers I make out even better and i have a clear idea how my body reacts and how to maintain my levels . plus a wider variety of gear is more available . So chime in let the others know who you got and how much did it take care of you and what does yours covers Mine also covers all labs to .

jasonhMy insurance (was blue cross know Aetna) wont cover injections but its 89$ (Walgreens) for Watson cypinate, one of the major helps though is my armidex is covered (it would be more than my cypinate) and all my bloodwork is covered, so basically I pay about $110 every ten weeks. woops I by my hcg from pepide company so that's additional 50 a month. Of course my plan was just increased $40 a month because of affordable health care act .everytime I say that I feel like breaking shit

I have BlueCross Blue Shield (Thanks BCBS for doubling my premium from $160 to $320 monthly for a healthy 34 yr old.. from 2013 to 2014 because my plan didn't "meet Obamacare requirements"..... When my prev. plan was miles and miles better than this new plan with higher Deductibles, etc.. but I digress.. lol)
Anyway.. My TRT is covered in full.
I get 10ml vials of Test. Cypionate.. @ 200mg per 1ml. For $11 .
The Needles,.. I use 25 Gauge 25mm (1 inch) syringes (I inject in my Delts mostly and not my Glutes as I inject myself and I don't feel comfortable reaching around, etc..) -- But point is.. 20 Syringes with Needles Lukerlok? sp? Are about $3 give or take $1.
I buy large boxes of alcohol pads, Bandaids, and such.. So it's really not that bad on the wallet.
My physician is very thoughtful of the "money" part of his whole practice and eats the cost of Labs.. he charges $50 (Or,.. you can use your insurance and pay copay.. your choice) and labs are no extra. He likes to give people who can't afford insurance a way to get good care without breaking the bank.. which is where his $50 straight fee comes from.
I honestly don't know how he does it to be honest.
So it's $15 a month at best for me.. You count my ridiculous insurance premium (only reason I keep it is because my state doesn't offer Major Medical plans..) then I guess $335 a month ($320 insurance premium + $15 for TRT).
My insurance covers everything. The only problem is they would only fill the 1ml vials x2 a month. Which sucks when trying to get only .5ml a week. So I had doc rewrite script and just pay out of pocket for test c at Costco. $61 for 10ml vial
Does Costco accept insurance if you have it, and would that make any price difference elsewhere? I'd ask but I don't like the testosterone talk at pharmacies.

Sure was nice to see the pharma grade stuff but had to go UGL and monitor with my own private labs
Don't forget that your doctor works for you. Tell him you will do your own shots, and follow up with him for blood work. If he refuses tell him you will find a doctor that will actually work with you. There are many Endocrinologists out there, and if your Insurance covers TRT shop around for another Doctor.
I've had BCBS PPO and been on TRT for 8 years. RX prescribed gel, which did nothing for my levels, so I pushed the issue with my Dr. And he switched me to Test C at 200mg every 2 weeks. I pay $10 for 10ml(200mg per ML.) I found out by trial and error that I can actually get a new vial every month and insurance still covers it, even though the RX dosage dictates that a 10ML vial should last me approx. 5 months.

My insurance covers it but the whole process is a bit of a joke. I have to pay the first $4000 of medical and prescriptions every year with the policy I have. Then the insurance kicks in.
The full price for test c is $20 per ml at their pharmacy. My md only runs total test and free test labs once every year. He has never checked prolactin, estrogen, etc.
He prescribes 1 ml test c 200 every two weeks. That leaves my total test low, but since I was sneaking in priviron on my own, free test showed mid range.
I asked him about adding nandrolone to my TRT because I understand it will help with coalegen (sp?). synthesis and joint discomfort and all he said is he never heard of it, and I could call the endocrinology dept and ask them about it if I wanted more info.
I am not arrogant enough to think I can do as good as a well trained specialist. But I can do better than my general practitioner.
I would not bother with them at all, except I really wanted the prescription for traveling with gear.
I fly twice a week-
My carry-on always has my gear-pins and all-
Not much just couple days worth if I'm away and have to pin-

It does help having that script for travel especially if you do it a lot.they can't take it from you or charge you if its legit script. lol I have a couple of friends I gave that advice to and their on board now lol
The insurance I have pays for it. No way I would be able to afford it unless I used all UGL.
I have Humana and they pay for it... friggin' 1ml of Testosterone Cypionate a MONTH. It's ridiculous.

1 ml a month even if your doctor wants you to take more? That seems crazy.
Well, they'd probably pay for more, but my family doc won't go past 1ml a month.

I would like to know this myself. I am not worried about the gear part but the doctor care part would be awesome.
Even if your insurance doesn't cover TRT you can always work something out with your doctor so that your insurance covers you for the visits along with the blood work. The key is finding a doctor that will work with you that you have a trust relationship with.
I know but do to the seriously bad anti roids taboo its even harder unless you have a Endocrinologist ? So a general Dr. will be like no way man ! and shun you had it happen with my family Dr. of many yrs . So be carfull not to go to the wrong person
Most doctors will shun you. Because for them it's simply not worth the liability associated. But you can find medical professionals that will work with you that is a fact.
I am trying to hold off on trt as long as I can but it sucks.
How old are you? And what are you holding off for?
You are either functioning or you're not. If you're not functioning what is there to hold off for? I don't get it?
I am sub almost 40 and my test levels are sub 300. I am going to go through this pct and test my levels again and if they suck I will try to get put on trt. After i get insurance that is.
PCT won't work you need a longer restart program. Which is basically lower dosage and longer duration. At 40 you can still get another good 5 to 10 years if you are successful with a restart however you can pretty much kiss AAS goodbye for those years.
I don't know what your goals are and/or lifestyle so I really can't make a recommendation. But the longer you stay off TRT the better in my opinion.
Can you elaborate on longer restart you speak of?
I will speak in broad strokes since restart programs are somewhat Individualized. Basically an extended PCT at much lower dosages for longer periods of time in the hopes of getting one's own body to function on its own without any medication.

I'm looking forward to 3-6 months clear of compounds - at this point I know I'm TRT because each time after pct my blood read in the 200-250 range -
But my off cycle never was that long -
Think it's time to see how much I can assist my bodies own natural production -
Kind of hard to do when I'm 42 and have demanding lifestyle - being under normal is hard-
But I do want to go some time to clear system and start a regimen based on bloods and howi feel

You need to make a decision do you want to be on TRT or do you want your own body to function naturally ( provided it can). Those are two different paths.
Problem functioning naturally has my test under bottom normal-
But I believe going clean is only way to dial in my levels with multiple bloods throught a new TRT blast -cruise regimen
I don't even know what that means. If you want to start a post to describe your situation and the advice you are seeking I think you will have a lot more input then doing so inside someone else's thread.

whatever conclusion you come to don't stay at sub 300 for too long. Unhealthy and you can do some permanent damage. If you need any help just ask.

I go to a clinic that was in Florida and still but the also have another in Philly .Labs in an hr and very comfortable atmosphere but does not do insurance gear is covered though by my insurer
