+ 1 Gas tank is empty
I'm new to....well, pretty much all of this, frankly. I never considered steroids when I was younger because I seemed to make plenty on my own. I guess I was lucky enough to win a genetic jackpot and could put on muscle like a 50 year old accountant who visits and all-you-can-eat buffet 3 times a day could pack on fat. I've always been heavily muscled with a slender waist, and I guess I should've been more appreciative of it because it seems the times, they are a-changing. I've been under quite a bit of stress in the last 4 years or so, and during this last year especially, I've been having dramatic physical changes. My waist has gone from 33 to 36, I've put on 15 pounds of fat, my energy is....well, I have none. Muscle strains and other injuries aren't healing like they used to, some not at all (screwed my elbow up over a year ago and it's still not right), my strength has all but left me, and my sex drive is about the only thing that's worse than my energy levels. I'm depressed (duh, who wouldn't be?), and worst of all (well, maybe not worse than the sex drive thing), my mind is no longer nearly as sharp as it used to be.
I'm not wealthy (at least not anymore) and can't afford a couple of grand a month for doctors, hormones, blood tests, etc. and so here I am, trying to solve this issue on my own, which is why I'm posting here: I need advice from those who are far more knowledgeable about these things than myself.
It's obvious that my testosterone levels are low. Whether it's stress related, or a natural result of the aging process seems unimportant, at least to me, and I've been doing research off and on for awhile, without being able to come to any solid conclusion on my own.
What I'm looking at is Sustanon-250, at least right now. I've also been thinking HGH might be something I should try (though I have ABSOLUTELY no idea what dosage, etc. I need to be looking at, haven't gotten that deep into it yet). I don't want my testosterone levels to be sky-high, just enough so I actually feel like getting off my ass and doing something, and to help bring back some of my strength, and help my weakened immune system.
Any and all advice and opinions welcome.
Thanks in advance

I tried to post an update here, and it appears to be blocking me.
Try replying here, seems to work..
Bloodworks All fine or out of range; t-levels and Tyroid?
(Would be glad if that would be so cheap over here)
" my mind is no longer nearly as sharp as it used to be"
You might want to have your thyroid checked !!!!
Jason, I read this forum quite a bit before signing up and asking questions, if what I read had led me to expect someone to pop off a list of shit to buy and pump into my body right off the bat, I'd have never signed up and written a post here describing my situation and asking questions, so the advice I got wasn't surprising to me at all. It was sound, well reasoned, and led me in the right direction.
About the only thing I might be willing to give a go without serious research and input is Clomiphene citrate, which isn't a steroid. And I still might actually give that a whack before calling back and starting the process with the TRT company, only because I want to normalize and that seems a viable alternative to testosterone injections, at least in some cases. If I decide to try it and it doesn't work, then I'll be making the phone call. But before anything, I'm going to do as irongame suggested and get bloodwork done.
Check back and let us know what you find.
I know you're thinking, I come to a steroid review site and everyone is telling me go see my doctor. But I am going to echo what the others have said. You need to have bloodwork done. There is no other way that you will ascertain whether it is a low testosterone (or any other) issue. Tell him/her what symptoms you are experiencing, and if it is low testosterone, there are a number of trt routes available to you. If you have insurance, they are all covered (with some copay.)
If you decide to pursue it a bit on your own, the link that irongame provided is about $60, and in three days you will have the results. If they aren't clear to you, post them (with your personal id info masked) here and you can get some feedback.
Maybe not what you want to hear, but I think you'd be much better off.
Shiva, thanks for the pointer. Called the place you referred to (probably about the time Irongame was writing and pointing me in the same direction) and I think I'm going to give it a shot.
And Irongame, thanks for the detailed response. No insurance (self-employed and I can't afford the $976 a month I was quoted for Obamacare....), but as I said above, after spending a few minutes on the phone with that company, I think it's the way to go, at least for now. I may take you up on your offer to help further if it doesn't work out, but they seemed pretty confident, and $200 a month to feel normal again would be just dandy.
As for whether it's low testosterone or not....I'm pretty positive it is, but like you suggest, I'd rather have the bloodwork done and know exactly where I'm at so I know where I need to go. My symptoms are pretty much textbook, but like you say, just throwing a bunch of testosterone into the mix probably isn't the best way to fix the problem.
It's funny, after reading the short list of side-effects, the possibility of low sperm count and shrunken balls didn't even make me blink.....it's a little strange, realizing how easily something that would've seemed extremely important just a few years ago can easily become meaningless if you get miserable enough.
I imagine you feel pretty shitty right now so I'll do my best to guide you in the right direction. First things first , get bloodwork done. Here's the link where you can get what's called the female hormone panel it tests for basically everything except your lipid profile. It's cheap to on here it's 63 bucks and if you google private labs md coupon you will find 15% off. Get this done to make sure it's really your test. http://www.privatemdlabs.com/lp/Female_Hormone_Testing.php
Do you not have insurance? First thing I would have done is gone to the doctor, most of them will write you a scrip for the blood work and it will be even cheaper then using the website I gave you. I would only come to a site like this if doctors failed you.
Now as for self prescribing trt. It's been done before and there's guys doing it now, but these guys who are doing it safely have a lot of knowledge of steroids. They didn't start feeling like shit them order some testosterone and start their treatment. Most of them had been using steroids for many years so they know what there doing. It's not as easy as just injecting yourself with testostrone and going on your way. Everybody's different and responds differently to doses. So one guy could tell you 150mgs ew put me in normal range that same 150 might put you way out of normal. So you have to pick a dose wait a few weeks get blood work done then adjust it and repeat till you find the write dose, then there's problem with estrogen. So if that's high and you start an ai you once again have to wait a few weeks then get blood work then adjust and wait a few more weeks then adjust again etc. it's not easy and of any of these things are off you'll have problems. Even if you do it on your own you're still gonna have to get blood work done like once a month for the first 3-6 months until you figure everything out. And then even after that you still need to get bloods every 3 montsj or so to make sure it's not affecting you negatively and your rbc, hemoglobin and hemocroit are within range because trt patients typically have to give blood every few montsj to keep these things jn check so there not at risk for serious problems like heart attack or stroke. And then there's the legality of this all. Ordering illegal steroids online is risky. It's a felony if you get caigjt. What if you packs get seized and you can get your meds? You crash and burn. What if you go on vacation and have to fly you can bring illegal drugs with you. And then there's all the potential side effects of trt.
So bottom line, I would go see the doc. If you don't have insurance like the guy below me said they have these clinics for 199 a month I could probably find the link if you would like. If none of this is possible let me knkw and I'll see what I can do to help.
Sorry to hear about your situation man. You may want to look into some of the "clinics" that offer hrt. Some of them are pretty inexpensive, around $200 a month.
You can go the black market route but if you just want to be "normal " again this might be the safer route because you will be getting supervision by a doctor along the way. Plus if you go the legal route you don't have to worry about breaking the law and you get real pharma grade.
