cholesteral and thyroid function

just got a full work up and test was at 1200
tyroid was overactive and cholesterol was off the chart
doc says its all from using test. any ideas any thought any other experiences.

CRP (c reactive protein)
Heart disease is caused by inflammation, an autoimmune response and oxidative stress (not obesity, high cholesterol, smoking, elevated glucose and diabetes - although some can contribute). Ideally you provide the breakdown for LDL and HDL (as in particle count).
ill have to look mat the paperwork, i was just in the hospital and found out i actually have a heart condition that i was not aware of. That probably was the cause for the levels. i did not know all this when i first wrote this post
My test was at 700 thyroid had some elevated levels and cholesterol wasn't bad but was on the high side. Doc gave me fish oil for my cholesterol.
ill give it a try cant hurt that's for sure
