Borderline Test levels denied prescription
ad
I am in the process of getting prescribed TRT. I was told that my levels are too high to prescribe. I went in today for some more blood work and hopefully I will get a better result. My last test levels were at 360. At what level will you get prescribed. I’ve felt like shit for the past two years. My workouts have been subpar if I even go consistently. Has anyone else been borderline and what did you do to get prescribed?

Typically below 300 is considered low, some providers will prescribe at levels higher if the pt is highly symptomatic (the ol treat the pt not the numbers) however due to fear of litigation if you are under 40 and your levels are over 300 most providers wouldnt even consider it.
360 is well within normal.
Feeling like shit? You should be losing weight and trying to figure out how to increase your test even more naturally (less drinking, more sleep, less weight, no smoking, better diet...) BEFORE you try and go on TRT.
We all felt like shit last year and to place all the shityness on low T is a gullible buy-in to those pharma commercials.
Exactly
Exactly. Everything is about money, and that magical cure. But you must pay to receive this magical cure. Or you will live in this world of shitiness for eternity.
Take those numbers to a different doc call around to rejuvenation clinics
I agree with 333. Test levels at that number effect everyone differently. So just because one doctor said no, I would definitely try a clinic or a really good urologist.
RustyhookerClinic dont care. They give folks piss poor info, take money and send ya off. Quack in a box.
Urologist? Peeing funny? Lol
Endocrinologist...
Absolutely agree with the clinic.. almost everyone who walks in will be leaving with a script.
And I stand corrected ... my endo did both my TRT and my Vasectomy. but you are absolutely correct!
