56 aint too old!

ad

I'm 56 years old, and have always been in reasonably good shape. Kinda thin and wirey, with no body fat except a little around the middle. I've always worked physical jobs, never anything sedentary. I don't have any real drama in my life or major problems, so I decided why the hell not go for it, and get myself into really good shape? What's stopping me? Several people told me I was too old for aas. I dabbled with some underdosed dbols and clomid, with minimal gains, and then said hell with it. I'm now running 500mg test-e ew, 300mg deca ew, 40mg of good dbol ed, and 10mg nolva ed. It's only been 2 weeks, but I'm doing well. muscle gains are well defined, no bloat or sides at all. The spare tire is deflating. Even pinning is a breeze. (don't worry. I did a ton of research on safe pinning first). Overall, I havent felt this good in 20 years, and the full effects of the oils havent even kicked in yet. So i guess my message is if you don't have any medical reasons not to, don't shy away because of age. I'm glad i didnt. After only 2 weeks the ladies are starting to check me out again! If there's any advice out there, I'm all ears. thanks.

Agreed....simple TRT won't cut it for anyone older wanting to pack on muscle. I do much better with B-n-C.

Thanks for all the advice bros! I definitely dont push my joints and tendons too hard, but i'm going to take your advice and scale it back a bit and ride it a bit longer than i planned. I love this forum. I've picked up so much from it. Thanks again!

Good effort mate. I'm not too far away from you in age, & have been contemplating an AAS cycle. Am dosing Peptides atm, & it makes me feel great.

you can FR tread-m, he is a wealth of knowledge on the trt thing. I agree with wheels on the tendons taking longer to catch up with strength. I have found slowing down has helped with tendons, mine is my right elbow. I also take a fish oil supplement and periodically add flaxseed oil to my diet. These both seem to help my tendpons. Then there is the saying about the tortise & hare, this is a not a race & I have to remember that although I may feel like I'm 25-30, I'm not. Good luck bro

I'm the same age and started 3 months ago. Only heads-up I have for you is that AAS will allow you to grow muscles faster than your ligaments and tissue can handle. Its easy to get carried away and increase weight too quickly.

If I feel even a twinge on a heavy lift, I don't try to push through it. Instead I stop immediately, give the area a week's rest then go back to a lower weight and more reps. But even being that conservative, my strength has gone thru the roof! Love this s**t.

My only problem is that I don't want to stop blasting and cruise.
