3 month bloodwork shbg
ad
First time posting. Started trt 3 month ago.
120mg a week. Split Mon and Thur.
31yo 5’6 175lb (down from 200)
I’ve been feeling good overall. Great improvement with energy, libido, and strength. No sides whatsoever.
Pre-TRT bloods were:
Total T: 151 ng/dl
Free T: 37
E2: 22
3 month bloods:
Total T: 853 ng/dl
Free T: 239.7 pg/ml
E2: 57
Shbg: 14
HCT: 53.8 (going to get this retested next week as I was not drinking much water)
Everything else normal.
Should my Shbg be higher or am I fine where I’m at? I was looking to increase my dose to 140mg but trying to find more info regarding shbg.

I wouldn’t be increasing your dose anymore if 3 months in youe hematocrit is already at almost 54. It’s just going to increase it even more. And your test is at 850 which is perfect.
There’s no point in drinking way more water than usual to dilute your blood. Your hydration level should be as it is on any normal day to get an accurate picture of what’s going on in your body on a day to day basis. Best thing for hematocrit is consistently keeping your water intake up, daily cardio’s and if that doesn’t lower it then you’ll have to lower your dose,
You’re fine. More free T with it being 14.
