I'm lost. Haven't seen the show. I am also for sure lost on all this homo shit below, feels like the Twilight Zone down there....

I think they peaked at season 2. 3 was ok but the show started drifting into domestic and drama- Bjorn and Torsten, the chubby English princess, etc. Season 4 was a disappointment IMO. It was game of thrones with ragnar drug addict subplot and no action until the end there.
I can see why you'd say that. I think its slowed its pace, but it's still on good grounds lol. Since this season is 20 episodes, they're not making action sequence after action sequence.
I think they've done very well with their goal this season, which was to make is doubt ragnar and to make is actually see hes not all that much a good guy, as opposed to previous eoisodes where its team ragnar all the way.
I love that show. I knew they were gonna pull some bs like that at the end. Imo season 4 was kind of lacking but that's usually how it goes in a series, kind of a filler season and then the next one is just insane

I see what you mean about it being lacking. I think since they were granted a 20 episode season they decided to slow things down and try to tell more of everyone's story. The pace was definitely different, but still managed to be suspenseful IMO.
No doubt, they're holding out for the last 10 episodes to ramp it up. However I think I read an article that said there will be 6 seasons

I also think flimmel has some real talent with the monologues he does. I remember getting goosebumps when he was yelling at rollo on the boat about his betrayal.

Yes sir, and yeah it was pretty bizarre... But the show is kind of known for leaping ahead in time and leaving the viewers a little confused as to just how much time passed.
Im very interested in how Ragnar handles his relationship with his sons going forward, now that they're all setting up their own paths of glory going forward.

Pasta was correct with his reference to article three of the no homo guidebook...HOWEVER...had he completely disregarded the addendum to article 3 Dated January 3, 2016.
The addendum states:
If any man, no matter the reference, no matter the comparison, no matter the personal masculinity; referes to another man as Sexy, Hot, babe, bae, or like language. He unequivocally has already placed the proverbial penis into his own mouth and has fully violated the no homo code of ethics therefore has to carry the title of homo for a minimum of 4 months.

Why was I not informed about the newest addendum issued this year?
I cannot accept 4 months of homo-probation, especially with the coming summer season. The fact that I will be bulking and look like a puffer fish does not matter. I am going to appeal this ruling on grounds of either a complete reversal of lesser term sentencing. Failure to inform your court of new guidelines must surely constitute a grounds for leniency.

Rollo becomes king and his sons conquer much of the territory in present day southern France IIRC, so as much as I hate him for becoming a traitor and leading to the disappearance of my beloved, he's got a bit more to go before they end his storyline.
Ragnar is definitely going out this way as opposed to the other theory, which he became a wanderer and died of illness... Which one would pull in more views? What I'm wondering is whether they will move that storyline to the finale of this season or not, given that he's going to be returning to England to meet Magnus... I'm also interested in the dynamic between him and his sons, whom he feared would become more famous than he.
