What has AAS done for you?

ad

We all have our backgrounds & stories. Many are similar & some are different, but we’ve all found ourselves with one thing in common....AAS.
What was your reasoning behind turning to AAS use & what has it done for you?
I’ve was always in good shape growing up & active in sports. I played baseball, football & lived & breathed wrestling. In high school many of my friends was hitting dbol & benching way more than me, but I never thought twice about steroids. I was having too much fun without them. I studied & researched steroids & it wasn’t worth to me. I even did my senior thesis on steroid abuse. I spent time in my beloved Marine Corps & again steroids were all around me, but never was I tempted. I wasn’t huge like some of my homies & I wasn’t throwing the weight that they were, but I was content with who I was & what I was doing. I was injured in the Corps & sent home with a medical discharge to have a surgery at the VA hospital. I hit a rough patch In life during this time. I had hoped to retire from the Corps & now I seemingly had nothing going for me & to top it off I was in a cast from my hip to my toes for a solid year. My drinking worsened & my intake of pain pills increased till I was snorting them. I will spare you the whole story, but I spent too many years this way. Finally I reached an all time low for the hundredth time, I decided to get clean. The moment I stopped the drugs & drinking I started putting on weight fast & all I was doing was eating normal. I guess my body wasn’t use to it. I got up to over 250 lbs & had a nice pie ponch to show for it. It hit me that now I was putting my body through a different type of abuse & decided to hit the gym again. I got down to 207lbs & was looking better than I had in years, but felt like crap. I had a friend introduce me to test & I felt like Superman. I made some mistakes, but found guidance & started researching before things were too bad. Since I’ve started AAS use responsibly, I feel it’s saved my life in many ways. I love working out & making gains, but most of all I appreciate the years I’ve added back to my life from living healthy. AAS has helped me reach goals & live healthier than I otherwise could have & especially since 40! I don’t plan to do many more cycles & I will never compete, but I plan to enjoy where I’m at now. My plan is a few long Test, Primo, Provi & Var cycles & see where I go. Thanks to everyone that has helped & guided me through pm or through me reading all your wisdom in posts!!
PEACE OUT

Helped me get confidence and something to live for after battling a 9 year drug addiction. 2 years later I am still clean and my therapy is the banging of weights and progress I make. I won’t say it was my saving grace because I had a lot of inside shit to attend to but it plays a big role.

one big thing steroids did for me was boost my everyday confidence level. I went from shy to out going..
It definetly helped with finding my aweasome lady..
The old me would have never walked right up to her and asked if i could buy her a drink.. and many years later that was the best move i ever did.
Thanks STEROIDS for over 10 years of helping me better myself at almost everything in life... im glad i found you

AAS killed my father and raped my mother.

Seriously, AAS is only a recovery aid it does not give you strength or big muskles it helps repair the damage you caused to your muscles when you trained. Obviously it also is important for men and boys too as a growth aid.

What AAS did for me was make me feel normal again. I didn't "cycle" until a year later and the first one was a disaster. After the first then I used it for recovery and it helped me more when I was on just my trt dose. When I cycle it makes me more aggressive and narcissistic

Helped hold me more accountable and made me focus even more on my health. It also made me way more focused on safety.

I was already pretty strict because I have a touch of OCD and I'm dedicated, but there have been times on cycle that maybe i didn't feel great, or had a really bad day, where there's a chance I might have pushed off working out til tomorrow but forced myself to because I was on.

Or days I'm craving some bad food, and 8 out of 10 times I don't give in to that craving, but since AAS, it's more like 19 out of 20. I'm also much more strict with meal prepping now than before. I always ate well, but now I eat even better. I know it shouldn't be like that but i'd be lying if I said otherwise.

Most importantly. I keep on top of my bloodwork and health more than before AAS. I ran bloods like once a year before. Now it's more like every other month. I go to the doctor every quarter to go over bloodwork and talk about shit I've been doing, diet, etc. to keep me in tip top shape.

And it's the reason I'm here and I really am glad I found this site. I've learned a ton here and hopefully helped 1 or 2 people in the process.

And obviously it's help push past a few plateaus and put on at least 15-20lbs that I have no business having on my body lol. But honestly that's the least important one to me.
