What A Time To Tear A Quad.

ad

Apologies to those who I haven't been able to reply to over the past few days, but last Tuesday morning I managed to tear my right quad and strain my left quad while doing a particularly light warm up set of Leg Extensions.

I finished off a set of 15 reps of 90lbs, stepped off the machine and my right quad immediately cramped up on me. I tried to get a hold on the machine next to me, missed my grab, stomped the right leg down hard to try to get a firm standing, but too late. My right leg just crumpled under me and down I went.

I've been laying up with compression bandages wrapped around both quads, ice bags to help with the inflammation and taking Dihydracodiene tabs like they're M&M's for the pain.

So that's the end to this cycle and with me not being able to train now, I'm sure alot of the gains I've already made on this cycle are out of the window too.

Sucks To Me.

But at least the Mrs is happy that I'm not chasing her around the bedroom, house and/or Walmart anymore, so it's not all bad I suppose.

As always, I'll continue to help/advice anyone looking for it.

Thank you, Mate.

I don't know if I'm more p'ed off with the injury or for the amount of time $$$'s and effort I've put into this cycle. LOL
