US seizure letter. Now what?

Hey guys anyone gotten a seizure letter in the US? Just got one and curious if I have to respond or if I do is that admitting knowledge (“interest”) in the package? And if it’s serious or not. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. -Thanks

I've ignored at least 3 camera tickets I got in the mail and nothing happened. They became so pointless that they now mainly have them where the train passes by.
Do what you want, I personally would not want to risk an increase in my insurance for a moving violation (they can't prove your behind the wheel so the insured car gets the ticket) from an article written 5 years ago. Of course you can then try and prove to your insurance company who was behind the wheel if it was not you.
StevebWell this is advice from many friends who are police officers. All the stuff you said isn't true here, I just threw them away and that was it. I did not risk anything. They told me just throw it away and don't worry about it.
Here where I live the judges are known to issue bench warrants for that ignore jury duty.
jayiskMy county got so bad at people throwing out the jury duty questionnaires and not showing up they did just what you said.
Sure did motivate and make people think twice about throwing it out and ignoring ever again.
a long time ago i wrote real small on the questionnaire under reasons to be dismissed that i had srs mental health issues and take a lot of meds and just got arrested for spraying some jerk with O.C. spray.
for some reason they didnt ask for me to come...lol

You can't legally throw them away. In LA they expect a large part of the population to ignore the notice. They cast a wide net and always have more show up then they need. With a population of several million, they have that luxury.

Well they are a fucking hell of a lot more strict here. They actually put prostitutes in jail here. And weed is not legal. To be honest considering the place you reside it makes perfect sense. I still wouldn't live there. Too many mouth breathers

Yep my daughter just got her first. Got out of it because she's currently enrolled in college. They said she'll be in the July/Aug batch if they need her. Lol. I've got her going that she's gonna spend her summer break on jury duty. I'm such an ass

have to remember law enforcement is not your friend and will promise you anything to get you to talk and convict yourself. so STFU and if needed lawyer the fawk up.. lawyer not public defendant thats job is to get you to take a plea even if you are innocent..

jayiskthey are buddies with prosecutors. the public defenders are underpaid and very large case loads.
prosecutors only care about their successful rate of prosecuting people...,nothing to due with justice or even if the person is innocent.
after sitting in a stinky ass county jail a public pretender will come to you with a plea deal. now you have the option of sitting in the county jail for a while and taking it to trial...where their dumbass will lose your case.
or take the plea deal with time served.., if not prosecutor gets pissy and hits you with the longest prison sentence they can.
criminal justice system in the states is a big business and all depends if you have money and/or political influence. if you are poor.., you are fawked.
So all the little hustles that waste money on jewelry or strip bars should learn to put that money toward retaining a lawyer for when that day comes.
watch the documentary on Netflix "Survivors Guide to Prison" if you never had to deal with the US legal system.

Yeah -it's real. Interesting thing is - Chinese being Asians (of course) have a 'collective' mentality which means that they put society ahead of the indivdual.
