I spent time in a few asian countries in my 20's including china. one thing i learned, as a foreigner was "UNDER NO CIRCUMSTSANCE" do anything that may be be illegal. I had a guy rip me off a pedi cab by my arms while traveling and the guy i was with said thank god you didnt hit him, it takes two years to see the magistrate here. that means i wouldve sat in some 3rd world shit hole jail for 2 yrs before i even got to plead my case

angusThat's how it was when I was in Phuket, Thailand too. They are pretty little people and don't get a lot of Americans, especially ones with 20 inch arms. I was constantly being fondled and followed. But the law there is death if you are caught with drugs of any kind. I chose to leave them at home. In China I do believe there are pretty severe penalties as well. Public caning comes to mind and that is a violent and bloody punishment.

How about if I check in the luggage? Do you have any experience with checked luggage? I don't want to bring it on my carry-on because 1) I have like 40 vials. 2) I'm not sure if oils are allowed on your carry on for international flights? 3) it's not legal here
Do NOT take vials in carry on (no liquids of any type allowed in the cabin) unless it is less than 3ml and have to be placed in a ziploc bag. Most likely the guy from the airport will confiscate and keep them for himself. If I were you, I would pack them inside the luggage with all the clothing. If taking several pieces of luggage just put several on each. Chances are they usually check 1 of the bags not all of them. Also they are looking for big packages. Will help if you tell us if its in Europe,Australia etc. To get an idea how good is the security checkpoints. Good Luck!!!
going from cali to chyna, but yeah I'm going to try it next time I go back, bringing multiple check-in luggages.
Buildbigger86I have never traveled with vials oversea's but i have domestically with my carry on and had no problems. The i have done it is by putting the vials in my medication bag on my carry on. EX. Allergy medication, Tylenol, cough
syrup etc... If you pack all your medications in a bag that you bring on your carry they don't seam to go through your medications for privacy purposes. Also if they for some reason open up your med bag and say what are these vials say they are your prescription hormone therapy medication. I cant see you having any problems.
The reason i say bring it on your carry on is because i have bought multiple goodies not just sauce back and fourth with no problems. I do not like checking my bag and leaving shit in it because you never you if someone opens your bag and see the vials or whatever else your not suppose to have and just steal it from you. Nothing would be more of a bumper then landing thinking your set and ready to roll and all your gear is taken,
This advice though is for if you are trying to bring 1-6 vials est. But If your planning on bring like 25-50 vials then i do not have any experience with that much nor will i be able to give you any good advice since i have never done it before.

I agree, but 40 vials. About 3 Weeks ago (US Airport) they made a big fuss,because of 3 bottles of powder glutamine I was carrying in my backpack. Might distribute throughout bags. Or place all of them in a medication bag,but inside the luggage not in the carry on. Usually they do not check much on Domestic flights.
