Training eye opener for me

ad

Ive always been a guy that who loves going heavy in the gym at everything. I felt if I didn't hear the sounds of multiple plates slamming together I wasn't going to grow. Chest day was alway my favorite. Nothing better then then people watching 195 lb guy doing 6 & 8 plates for sets. All the attention kept me going heavy every time. Things changed this past September when a change in jobs forced me to change up my routine. Which I c now as a good thing. I hate change so it was a little bit of a adjustment to say the least. My workout now consist of nothing but high reps 12-15 and 6 sets of everything. I use nothing but dumbells bands and body weight. I've had some great gains that I never thought would be possible. I've had to get a Lil creative with some exercises but I have to work with what I got and I'm extremely happy with the results I've acheived Im posting this to let all you guys that lift heavy all the time. Don't be so one dimensional don't have tunnel vision. Break up the monotony of your reg routine. I think you'll be surprised at the results you can achieve. I still go heavy for the two weeks or so while I'm home and I haven't lost much if any on my heavy lifts. This has worked well for me and hopefully will end up helping someone else.

solid post brother! my cycle im currently running is the first time I decided to check my ego at the door and lift lighter, with higher reps and squeeeeeze each rep good and proper, the switch in training is paying off with great gains just like yourself.
