+ 1 The sickest you've ever been
7 days ago my wife came home from doing a first aid course feeling a little sick. 24 hours later she was wrecked, 48 hours later it hit me so hard she almost called an ambulance. I was hallucinating that she was my dead mother and became completely incoherent. Honestly she probably should have sent me to the hospital. The next day wasn't quite as severe, fever down to 102, but pain throughout my entire body like I've never felt. My teeth hurt, my kidneys hurt, my hands felt like they were breaking to clench and unclench. My wife didn't get up for anything but to pee for 48 hours. I tried to move a bit more. Couldn't keep any food down, vomited up straight water and stomach acid every few hours for days. I lost 8 pounds in 5 days. We are finally on the upswing now, still fever, aches, weak, stuffed up, breathing labored. But food is going in finally.
What the fuck has the CDC been cooking up in gain of function labs lately? I have no doubt this would have a great chance of killing the seniors in our lives.

I suspect the bird flu has jumped to humans. The flu hospitalization numbers are insane. I had H1N1 about 15 years ago and spent 3 days in a fever dream, no food or water before my wife finally damn neaer carried me to my doctor. It took several weeks to fully recover and as bad as two of my runs with covid were , that was the first time I realized flu can kill. I truly hope I am wrong but something is definitely up.

I was sick from Christmas to little past the new year like that just without the vomiting. I felt like someone just beat the shit out of me. Idk what it was but I feel like it's still lingers every so often I'll get shitty or it's prob just in my head lol
The flu ain't the flu anymore... I don't ever remember getting shit kicked like this pre covid. Or is it just hitting 30 and not bouncing back as well?

I approve this theory, I bought some cheap leg pads for biking straight from China and wore them without washing first, ended up with a crazy infection where it rubbed enough to break the skin, which led to a months long battle with crazy whole body rashes and waves of breathlessness. Doctors had no fucking clue what it was.
I’ve been sick for 2 weeks , found out last Saturday I have Covid. Started antibiotics Monday and I’m just now starting to feel better. Symptoms aren’t as severe as yours but I feel completely out of it, especially being out of the gym and off my diet for 2 weeks.

We had covid in 2020 or 21, can't quite remember but it wasn't nearly as gnarly as this, just low grade fever and a mild cough for 2 weeks! Still sucked.
