I miss Eric aka Juicinator aka Juice aka midget maya proprietor aka one of the realist cats out there. He was a raging asshole to anyone who pissed him off but was one of the most generous and helpful members at one time. Couple other cats who I won't mention here but I'm sure if they're reading this know I got nothing but love for them and I'm thankful for our friendship while it lasted.

I miss Hollywood, he was the kind of guy you loved to hate and hated to love. He was pretty brutal and direct but I always had lots of respect for that. Pale rider was cool too until he traded in his 6 shooter and awesome 10 gallon hat for a fucking light saber. Now he has to get real close to kill someone versus just emptying the barrel from a distance. Preacher died that day.

Because this place use to be a smaller community and you had to earn your stay here. It was viewed as a privilege. People started getting hurt feelings over the way things were being handled, so he was basically pushed out because he was to "tough" on people. That's when the PC police started taking over. They leave because this place is stagnant. There's to much redundancy. Forums used to be swept of pointless post and memebers who didn't share the eroids view. We were getting a bad rap as bullies and people didn't like that. It's all about keeping hits and traffic up.
I liked the guy, just not in mod mode. He banned me once for what I thought was straight up a dick swinging contest. It was a temp ban but I thought it was bullshit so I left the place until he lost his mod tag.
I realize the mod job is a tough job but in my opinion the dick swinging contests are a big reason that we lost a lot of kick ass bros. Tread was one of them.

I think a lot of it is just old school and new school. Evolution is tough for some to deal with, but it all comes full circle. bigmurphTell me what I can do because im big on not bashing people I believe that there is no such thing as a stupid question but here that isn't always true but I try to keep guys around. I know there was a very big revolt with all the vets hating the newbs and I don't blame them but I want to keep eroids top notch and keep as many vets around as possible they have the knowledge they are the ones we need. I hope vike didn't think he was pushed out all we want is him back.
I'll tell you what you can do...quit being so damn nice and start being an asshole. Go find a newb and cyber bully the shit out of him until he cries. That's how we roll.
Viking never let anyone push him anywhere. People just come and go, some really dig into the community aspect of it and some just show up for the gear, some do both. There is no sense trying to dissect what makes other men tick. All we can do is keep going.
After Ed started this thread I went back through my friends list (the first two years) and to my surprise many of them dudes/dudettes are still here. Some maybe not as active but many of them still check in on occasion. People have lives, I understand. If I wasn't saddled with the responsibility of this place I would not be here as much as I am. It does get a bit redundant for us longtimers, no getting around it.
I think what u've just said there sums it up perfectly! There are a select few on here that make this forum what it is! Vike, makwa, catalyst, you, an tony to name a few but the knowledge that u lot have shared has helped a novice such as myself an my friends in ways that we couldn't of hoped for! I can imagine the deja vu and redundancy of being asked fuckin stupid questions but i hope u can understand the benefit of the vets is still very much appreciated!
The site in my opinion just doesn't have that kick ass vibe it had a few years back at least to me. But I wonder, to the new guys ant others if it still does or is it just a case of me getting bored?

I don't think it is as awesome as it was but like I said earlier it may be us more than the site. Plus we have lost a few big personalities like Viking. Those are shoes that I cannot fill nor would I ever try. And even my posting is different than it was back then. I still try to be more funny than serious but when you are checking in as much as I do you guys get to see me in all my moods, for better or worse.
But Ed we are still here, you are still the best comedic writer Eroids has to offer. Goth being a solid second.

Well that is your opinion. There were a lot of things going on and Hollywood simply went too far. We all do at times, including me, but there are limits. As far as the forums, they haven't changed, we have.
