THE ACE OF SPADES
We all know that in a game of spades the highest, most desirable trump card is the Ace of Spades. It beats all. There are many close to it ( the Ace of diamonds, queens and hearts) but none trump the the spade.
So I ask this: what is the Ace of Spades in the sport if BB today? Everyone for the most part has access to the same enhancing compounds, the best scientifically researched training equipment, and probably close to the same training regimens. So what makes one competitor stand out more than others to the judges and to the spectators?
We all know one obvious answer has to be genetics. Is another Olympia winning difference a subject that is very prevalent here on the forum lately over some of the afore mentioned training aids, and that is how essential that diet and FOOD is to the grand scheme of all things bodybuilding.
Could genetics and food be two major differences between BB competitors in general that decides who wins a competition???

I'm no pro but my experience and what I've read has made me firmly believe the biggest difference is made in the kitchen. Genetics are huge but I think great genetics can only get you so far if your diet isn't on point.
RustycanGreat points guys I agree with all of your thoughts thanks for the input
I would say money as well because alot of people can't afford all the food, steroids, hgh and slin while having a family to raise and support. Then there's time as well which we can't spend every day sleeping eating and working out
AnonAs far as the differences between the pros, you have to think it leans heavily on genetics and not much else. All of the pros live eat and breathe the lifestyle all day everyday, and this is the main reason why you see reigning champions for consecutive years IMO. Once someone like Ronnie reaches relatively full muscle maturity, it would seem to only be a matter of sustaining and refinement until the time in which some other genetic freak reaches their full potential as another is aging out of theirs. HGH, slin, anabolics, diet and training cant be too far off from one another.
