Stuck/ Siezed(?) at JFK

Been around awhile but haven't been on this forum too long. Still have to ask a question.
Anyone ever have gear "stuck" at JFK for 2 weeks. From UK. Never problem before. Just wondering...

Some packages are just better suited to use as a soccer ball than others, .... just saying.
I had a package at LAX for three weeks once...then it just showed up.

seems so, yea. It arrived and has been being "processed" since the 18th...
