Bro, now and days you have to remain vigilant this applies to people, pools and surroundings ect. What I would do is put my kid in the house for a min say" wait right here for a min baby, daddy's got some shit to handle. " Then you jump in your car and follow that son of a bitch! Jump out of your car and give em a piece of your mind! I'll do anything for my kid, even beating down a bitch. If that shit won't work, invest in some road spikes, when he drives by put em out. What I would do is next time you hear them coming roll a basketball or something into the street. When they stop to avoid hitting it maybe walk up and say, may want to slow it down my kids play here. Take the nice approach the first time. If it works then great, if not then another course of action may need to be taken. Sometimes just a confrontation in friendly nature will get people's attention.

ok brother depending on how much time and effort your willing to put in you can make a difference for everyone in your neighborhood, let me explain. my street serves or shall I say served as a short cut between a new large home community behind my small neighborhood and a main north south street road in the city. we had cars, trucks speeding down my street day and night as concerned for my kids as I was I was equally if not more concerned for my neighbors mentally challenged child who had the tendency to wander out close to the road. after my last conflict of many with some punk teenager ripping by doing about 50 mph in a posted 25 I had enough. I contacted codes enforcement who referred me to one of my city commissioners who then explained that if I was to get enough signatures from the people in my neighborhood and present my petition to the board we could mutually come to a beneficial solution. today we have those very tall speed bumps installed on our road every couple hundred feet, and it makes excessive speeding impossible now unless you want to rip the front end off your car. good luck and if you need further info or help just let me know..

I went through the same shit about 2years ago. It was always the same fuckstick flyin down the road playin his "boom boom" bullshit music loud as hell. So oneday I stood in the road and made this dipshit stop. I was real calm /collected and asked the dude who was only 21 if he could slow down because my son and other kids were out. His response was "man fuck you" and scratched off. So the next time dum dum was flyin down the road I was unloading wood and some stones from my truck and as he drove in front my house I hummed a stone right through his pretty little wangsta ghetto windshield. So he stops of course bad move! I was so pissed I snapped on his ass and busted him up pretty good in front my wife kids .dude I had fines jail time a whole bunch of stuff. Think before you react bro!

I wouldn't put that sign up if you have gear at your house or get gear mailed there. You don't want to get 5-0's attention. Maybe a fence? Stay safe my man. Oh, and I hate that shit too. Slow down in residential areas. If you live on the back roads, though. Better teach the kids to fear being hit and watch out for cars.

I empathize with you. I have two little girls. they often play with the kids across the street from us. I'm getting pretty tired of these fools flying through the neighborhood. The icing on the cake is that these ass hats are usually trying to text and drive. Completely oblivious to their surroundings. Every once and a while I just hang out on the sidewalk in front of my house and wait for some jackass to come flying down. Then I just walk into the middle of the road and force them to stop. After a few choice words to such a speeder I usually don't seem them again. But for every ass I catch two more pop up. You have to be proactive with these people. Try to get your local law enforcement involved. I live in a pretty small town, so the local cops love writing tickets in residential neighborhoods. big fines.

In my area they have these speed vans. They have radar and take pics of the front and rear of the vehicle speeding. Then the violator gets a ticket in the mail. They don't go against the driving record but not paying the tickets hours against the persons credit. All you have to do is call the company and request a van and they usually post one near you within a week or so. Granted it's not 100% effective but it still help keep you out of jail. I also like the idea of rebar in the yard.

Contact your local police department and explain what's happening and how you're concerned for your kid's safety. There won't be a cop posted up 24/7 but they will increase the amount of time they roll through your neighborhood. A couple speeding tickets should deter things for the speeders.

Man, I bet it's a bunch of fuckheads my age (20's). They do that shit in my community as well. Every time I come around a corner some motherfucker is flying from the other side and almost hits me. It's unbelievable.
