Proud, I Am
My ten year old decided last October that he was going to train with me through winter in preparation for baseball this spring. I started him out with all bodyweight exercises and sprints. As with any kid that age it has been hit and miss but since Christmas he has been very consistent with training. I have been preaching lately that the gains are made by diet because he has never been a big eater. Well he has been cleaning the plate as of late. Tonightt after our workout we came in and he went directly to the fridge with no push by me. He pulled out about 8 ounces of grill chicken and put a potatoe in the microwave. He pour a tall glass of milk and down it all. While I was eating he was looking through the nutrition book and asked me " why do we get shit food at school. We cant grow like that". I almost choked on my supper but I am so proud.

Keep at him Bro. I got my son into training early as well and he became the captain of his football team as a senior and still holds the bench press record at 370lbs for his HS. It makes a Father very proud seeing their son excel.
That awesome. As Dads work ethic, integrity, and self esteem are the most important things we can strive to give them. This lifestyle aas not included supports those values. When the time comes if mine choose to dive in deep in this world he will get my suppot with it also. It appalls me to read the bullshit these young guys come in here with. I hope and feel confident mine will know when to keep his mouth shut and ears open when people are trying to teach him.
