Actually I think it has something to do with traffic volume. America is a monster of a consumer and the traffic volume of goods is way higher than Canada. So maybe keeping control in America will be more difficult than in Canada.

We typically go to the wholesale place, today was the regular grocery store. It’s not just beans buddy, everything is way out of hand with prices. There’s currently a big stink in my tri-state area regarding electric and gas utilities, we just keep getting fucked. The world needs a French Revolution and get some of these oligarchs out.

You really have to have them on top of white toast to appreciate how they are normally eaten here, and so you can feel like a victim of war LMAO Cheese on top of the beans is good also. Black pepper. I like English mustard too with them. Have them on their own at first with no sauce on your first few mouthfuls.

Do you have Self scan over there where you walk round scanning your own items like you are already at the till?
I’ve yet to see scan as you shop, only for price check, but self checkout is huge here. That same grocery even put up a set of waist high locking doors that won’t open unless you can your receipt. Makes no sense, just give someone a fucking job…
Yeah it depends on where you are shopping over here - if its a rough area I am sure they won't have Self scanners but most places do have self service tills. All those Scally wags in your area will be clearing the shops out eh??!!!! LMAO I always use it but you have to be careful with it as its EASY to get distracted while shopping and forget to scan the item and still put it in the trolley. Someone can come talk to you, see someone you know, something else also catches your eye etc. The way they work it here is when you point the scanner at the checkout at the end it will do a random check on you to make sure you have scanned everything in your trolley - so it will summon a member of staff over who then picks 6 random items in your trolley and you better pray they all match up to whats in the computer!! LMAO Its builds up a credit score over time so the less times you have missed something the less it bothers to check you. Probably about 5% shoppers use it here thats all.
