kurt78Last year I ran a cycle and lifted with a broken-back... I could lift and work, but couldn't sit or sleep without pain. I just had my back fused 2 1/2 months ago because the pain got old and had enough... Just letting you know that when I first complained to the Dr. about it, the x-ray showed nothing and I figured i just pulled something and kept living with a broken back for almost 2 years. A cat-scan and MRI showed the broken bones. So ya man, good luck and take care of yourself.... I'm dying to hit the gym again
I also had the herniated disc which caused sciatic nerve pain. Man it sucked. Left leg felt like it fell asleep, numb all the time.I kept lifting. Watch doing the deadlifts though. Did some hyperextensions, went to the chiro, and had the wife massage it (which seemed to help the most). Also, I swear by Tiger Balm, you can get it at walgreens or walmart.. Good luck
Ace VenturaHave you seen a chiropractor about it?
Wardi77Sounds like a herniated disc. When you say "your right side" you mean down your right leg? Can you touch your toes or does it cause pain ?
Yeah I have. It's on my left side but doesn't go as far as the glute. It stays pretty much low on the right on my lower back. I've been getting adjusted and electric neuro stimulation and it helps with the infammlation.
