My daily Motto

ad

Last night after the gym I had a moment. In between the pain of hunger and the pain of sore muscles I wrote something down. For me written words have held such an importance in my life I use them to motivate myself. I read it this morning and I thought it would be cool to share.
I can

I'm tired of being told that its too hard or that for some twisted reason that I can't. Why can't I? Why must another preach about about hard work and sacrifice and about dedication. They think I don't have what it takes to give it my best. To lay my heart and soul on the line.
The sun doesn't shine for just a precious few. The rain doesn't just fall on the weak and timid. Life isn't easy. Life is living each and every day on the brink of breaking. Pushing ourselves to the limits of our minds hearts and bodies. To achieve greatness I must be willing to die for it. To climb out of hell one bloodied fingernail at a time. To deal with pain that may be unbearable and unimaginable. To tell whatever Gods may be that I am unconquerable. I can and

I WILL

My favorite words of motivation came from watching Generation Iron. At the end Kai Greene says....

We have more work to do.

After each of my gym sessions I stand I front of the full size mirrors in the locker room and I tell myself that. There's always room for improvement.

1 more rep. A motto I have used in the past month that reflects exactly what you wrote. 1 more attempt. Always try 1 more time.

Damn, real talk. To many times in my past I have hit the wall and made excuses to myself while wollowing in self pity. Since the birth of my daughter I now thrive on pushing past those mental or physical barriers. Refuse to fail!
