BigBmajI've experimented quite a bit. Whatever music can best suit the feeling I need. Some days I actually need to regroup and listen to classical - and I get an amazing workout.
Heavy metal fucks with my breathing. It makes me overly aggressive and I breath shallow. So I usually listen to electronic music - nothing vocal. It's got to be complex fast and repetitive.
Lately my mood has been bad so I needed to bring a little life into my music. So I've been listening to electro swing - like house and swing mixed. It's actually very good. It suits workouts well - but it's such a subjective thing.
I'd like to be a bad ass and mention all the heavy shit I listen to, but that stuff doesn't give me power it distracts me.
I train harder happy.

I have been really digging into Ghost B.C. , I kind of like the first album a little more than the new one.
Matter of fact come 10am I gotta try getting tickets for them with Deftones and A7X
I really been wanting to see the deftones
I am not a huge deftones fan myself, but I do like A7X and Ghost.
Damn that's a show I'd love to see. Too bad the closest it comes to me is Vegas and that's 10 hours away....FUCK!
And check this out. The tickets weren't supposed to go on sale til 10am yesterday. I was set to do a spin class at 9 so I looked for a ticketmaster app for my iphone, sure enough tehy have one. So I log in and hit search tickets and for whatever reason they were already there. Nailed down 6 floor tickets and checked out all before the gate was supposed to open.. Sweet.

unfortunately, we only have the top 40 of the charts out our gym, so a lot of girly music, not very motivational lol, I wish they would play some hard stuff!!
My gyms the same way that's why I plug the earbuds in the smartphone because I just can't handle the shit they play for the ladys on the elipticals
